It's a bit like Latin and English, rather...just going on "feel". The syntax has some unique elements, like the fact that sentences default to expressing emotions. It all makes sense in context. Ar Ciela, however, is pretty much an inaudible mash of sounds because humans can't hear what it actually sounds like.
@@The_Noblesse They are talking about the language used in this song. Both "Hymmnos" and "Ar Ciela" are conlang (Constructed Language), made for the game Ar Tonelico and it's side game.
Out of curiousity - is that sung in japanese? I know that the alphabet seems to indicate that, but the sounds seem to be unlike the "standard" I've heard (mind you - I don't speak, or know this language really). Or - is that some dialect, maybe...?
I was curious about this as well and apparently the majority of the song is sang in a made-up language called Hymmnos, which was created for the game series of Ar Tonelico. There's a bit of Japanese mixed in as well but it's at the very end. Kind of reminds me of Nier, that series has music that's sung in a made-up language as well
The song's title is Infelious Rhaplanca, you can search that for the lyrics Hymmnos differs from Nier's chaos language since Hymmnos is an actual conlang that can be translated, whereas Nier's is just meaningless sounds

It's a Hymmnos.
Hymmnos Language was made for the Japanese game called ar tonelico
The introduction is sung in Ar Ciela, not Hymmnos.

I have no clue as to whats your conversation is about... 🤔

Mia Musica!
Sad I couldn't find any of her songs on Spotify :(
Two of her albums used to be on Spotify- I had them liked and downloaded. But 2-3 years ago they were all taken down. :(

What language is this? Aside from the Japanese parts.

I know there's some French and Latin in it, and some of it seems like Italian and Celtic (not positive), as well as a made up language.
