- I discovered this song during a busking festival in Dungannon, and since then I've been rather obsessed with it, so I decided to make my own guitar version.
Most of the instruments are real recordings this time, using the cheap snare and tom I had in the shed, and layering up the tracks with clean electric guitar, distorted rhythm guitar, lead, and layered cornet tracks. The drone at the start and superimposed drums in the metal section are computer generated.
Equipment used: Ibanez gutiars, Emg and Ibanez/Dimarzio pickups, Marshall MG100DFX 1st gen, Randall RD20, Challenger 1 Cornet, AKG C3000, Focusrite Sarlett 2i2, Planet Waves cables, Dunlop Plecs.

"Very traditional", huh. I like Highland Cathedral, but let's be honest: it's not even 40 years old and it was composed by a German for a sports event in Scotland. Plenty of people might consider it a classic and an unofficial anthem of Scotland, but calling it traditional is reaching pretty far in my opinion.

I still haven't tabbed it yet but I should as a few people have asked. You can see the fretboard though so try learning it that way, and use your ears!
