Ich würde sowas gerne mal live miterleben. Bekomme beim Video schon Gänsehaut. Einfach nur schön.
The only thing missing from this outstanding performance was a couple of pipers. Those smiles would have turned into happy tears.
Superb. My favourite Scottish melody written by 2 Germans. Danke.❤ 😂🎉
my favourite song/tunes of all times just missing the pipies
A few of those passengers experienced a stirring deep in their soul. The rest of them just viewed it as a form of light entertainment.
Makes me proud to be Scottish ❤
I'd go past my stop to hear the end of that.
Music is an international language!
Spirits raised, smiles a plenty. Well done.
As a Welsh accordionist, this is one of my favourites on the box. Very Scottish, but thanks to two German boys. We need more like this to raise our spirits. Thanks so much, Frank in Bristol.
As a Scots-born, I'd have been 'in bits' even if this was played in the reality between Coatdyke and Airdrie stations in Strathclyde-magnificent stuff with thanks to the musicians however concealed!
We walked down the isle to this in Orkney
Yes it does miss having bagpipes but beautifully played
True on both counts. I guess bagpipes are not really an instrument to play in a subway car.
Great video. Just missing the piper.
Wow!❤
What a pleasant surprise to find this unusual rendition of my favourite tune. Thank you for posting it
What a wonderful thing to happen on a train look at all the smiles. To be able to do that from an instrument fantastic. 💖
Wunderbar, sollte es viel mehr geben.Das bringt Ruhe in den hektischen Alltag und nimmt Agressionen..Ja ich weiss,Wunschdenken
How wonderful. To be able to make smiles from musical instruments. Beautiful. 💖
Lovely wish i had been on that train thank you all from wales
Wish I had been there !!! Greetings from Edinburgh !!! xx
I loved this. A beautiful song played from the heart. I have heard several renditions but I think this is my favorite of all. 💜
Fantastic rendition of this piece. It sounds good on which ever it's played on, I did agree that it is best on the pipes, it is just one off those great all round times.
I wanted to ride this train too.

Was für eine schöne Idee. Musik kann so vieles bewegen
At least that put a smile on a few faces during their commute. Hopefully they had a better day because of it.
It's pretty good but you need the bagpipes for that tune to sound AMAZING! But very cool and well done!
Lovely ! Music has no boundaries !
Thanks, hope next will have bag pipe
this does put a smile on my face.
天佑香港 🇭🇰🇭🇰🇭🇰🇭🇰🇭🇰
Bringing joy and smiles
Great stuff 👍🏻
In den Farben getrennt, in der Sache vereint
Imagine if a piper had turned up.
This was good, would have been epic to have a bagpiper come in and join from the train stop
Absolutely beautiful

SUPERB!!!
Wonderful
Thank you
Love it ❤
Brilliant
" BRAVO "
Wäre gerne dabei gewesen
Not to bad but you definitely need the bagpipes
Actually this is the Cologne style version by the band „Bläck Fööss“ named „Do bes de Stadt“ (You are the City) one of the many hymns we have for our beloved home city.... Cologne bands often use Scottish melodies
But the "Scottish Melody" has a german origin: It was written and composed by Ulrich Roever und Michael Korb in 1982. But it was suggested as the scottidh hymn by excited scottish people...
sound is a bit too good to have been recorded live on a subway methinks.
Where was the played? Beautiful but miss bagpipes a special song Highland cathedral
Music united
What i the drum called please?
i guess you are in uk or canada playing this flashmob
because americans will...you know they are americans.
What’s that supposed to mean? We have pipe bands in the USA, and very good ones I might add. I’ve heard Highland Cathedral played by our local pipe bands and high school band as well. We had it played by a former Pipe Major of the Royal Scots Regiment at my wedding to my late wife, and a lot men wore Kilts, including me and my brother and father. So, I really don’t understand your comment. BTW there is a very strong Celtic heritage community in the USA, with lots of Highland games and festivals.
@@annanoyang3961 what’s that supposed to mean? Stop being cryptic because it actually sounds like you don’t know what you’re talking about. There were Scots and Irish on the side of the colonies fighting for independence and they never gave up their heritage. Look up Scots in the Apalaches, many actually were involved with the founding of the USA and settled the new lands.
@@wilfredosoto2722 if you really wish to judge this meme comment by political correctness I will say you are right and no further discussion. I am a fob and before I arrive the States what I do is spending lots times on us history and what ya mentioned I do know surely. Referring this meme Is just comparing rebellion in British North America and “I love my country for eternity” If you don’t laugh when you see this kind and unharmful internet meme, just slide away. Do not judge me as cryptic because it is NOT my identity and none in my comment mean that.
This should be Scotland's national anthem. flower of scotland is boring and hateful.
Where is the hate in Flower of Scotland? It is a response to the hatred that Edward the First, "Hammer of the Scots", and his nobles showed towards those north of the Tweed. You may dislike the song for it's retrospective nostalgia, it's over use and misuse, but you would do well to respect the history that it represents.
Brilliant! From a wee lassie! 🙋👍🙏🏴🇮🇪
