This is honestly one of the best rock bands of the past 5 years. Dudes with hardcore/punk backgrounds makin 2021 alternative rock. Great band live. Support these dudes.
I agree with it, and that's why it hurts to realize that in the very end they simply switched genre (moving towards alternative rock while introducing hc/punk elements and references, what canadians fucked up did), instead of revolutionise the old one from within (what turnstile are doing, or fugazi did). I like the song very much, nontheless.
Man, that was literally my first thought. This is alt rock. I'm definitely not mad at it; I love it. It's great, especially knowing where they come from.

It’s so hard to find a rock band that is catchy and melodic without sounding like shitty pop music. That’s what made all the old rock bands great. These guys have really tapped into that. 👍

I absolutely love this song. What a lick, what a groove, and super cool melody - and lyrics. And the singer has a really unique approach, and the band is ripping it up - I’m beyond impressed with this one.

When you’re ahead of your time, that’s usually the case. A band that was like that was this Death Metal band called Animosity. 2-3 steps ahead of everyone else, just too early. Thankfully Drug Church has a decent amount of peers.

Perfect! Mix of the previous, with a heavier twist. When I heard this I was just so excited! Then tonight I went back and checked a bunch of self defense family and read the vice article where he speaks on "but does it work?".
This works!!! But the world, nope, not so much. Like a huge rolling steel machine, losing bolts and screws at every clinking clang of the cog.
