Hey Da Drank... Blessings to u and urs. I have been trying to implement several of the settings and file arrangements that I have seen on a couple of ur past vid's. Very well put together. Well... After watching this video, I liked the way ur MPC and computer worked hand and hand with each other. So I tried to get my MPC Live 2 and my MPC software to talk alittle better.
So when I go from standalone mode and switch to controller mode my MPC Live 2 shows the "Looking for computer" screen and that does not leave.
It does allow me to play the sounds on the pads. But...I get no color coded pads like on the tv/monitor screen. And I am only allowed usage of several packs not all...
Can u help a sista out please and thank u.

Start by making sure you have the correct drivers installed on your computer for the mpc you have. Second check all USB ports. Third head to akai's website and start getting familiar with the software hookup. Its not like standalone. You will need to know a few more things.

Hold shift button on mpc then hit convert button at the bottom of the mpc screen.
