I would like to pay a small tribute to Jimmy Lafave, The first time I ever heard Jimmy singing was in 2002,my sister Maggie an I were doing a Route 66 coach tour … we stopped in Clinton Oklahoma where I bought a tape called… more songs from Route 66.
It was on that tape I heard Jimmy singing the Oklahoma hills,and I must say it is the best version I have ever heard!!!
I was deeply saddened at his passing.
Jimmy will never be forgotten.
