R33 Handbrake Assembly... YOU SUCK

- Today I set about trying to install some Project Mu (PMU) Handbrake pads in my R33 Skyline Drift Car. This is basically the same install as what youd expect to see on the Z32, R32, R33 and R34!

one good tip for when working on cars, always do one side at a time so you can always have an assembled side to use as a guide and as well get yourself a workshop manual for that model is always good to have

With the white wheels your R33 looks almost exactly like mine now, I just have a GT-R Wing and an M-Spec front lip.
I have OEM brake shoes in mine and mine engage very early but even with my old 255 wide tyres i've never had it lock in a straight line like that. Sam's probably right there.
I know this vid isn't the most exciting subject but DIY on hand brake shoes probably saves you 250 bucks plus of mech time so it's a good lesson for first timers also clean up in there is important, also there's a dust cover mod you can do to minimize brake over heating on the track.
Hi mate. Not sure if this will apply. However on my 100 series landcruiser I replaced the DogBone (spacer) between the 2 top return springs with a slightly longer one which allows for more pad the disc contact. The handbrake is now 10 times better.
You should probably change the oil in your gearbox. Might get rid of the whine or could be cooked

When you take the Falcon out for a mountain run make sure you cover up your speedometer, the revenue raisers will be watching your channel Zacster. They would just love to have your licence taken off ya . Just be aware of the possibility that they want to ping ya .

Good amount of detail, some of these yt vids skip details when things go wrong or curly. ua-cam.com/video/0PpYPOtu2VI/v-deo.html says to use lugs/bolts to get the rotor flush before adjusting.
