the funny thing is I use Valhalla products all the time and lotta setting I never knew the technicals behind thenm and just tweaked to liking but you explained them better then all of the vids I watched on them

Btw for your delays to make make them stereo you can just flip the phase on L/R channel In HDelay so you won’t have to do your Microshift to make them stereo
@@LaghimaMusic if you do this you’ll get a wider image but the delays will 100% be gone and inaudible whenever your mixes are played in mono. For that reason I use Microshift because you still get information in the mono Channel
He's using the Sm7b and Sm58 to lay down ideals in the control room. I like both mics, but he's not using them for the final vocals. Using a dynamic mic in the control room to mumble melodies rather than a loud condenser makes sense.
yo a good trick for reverb which you should show people is putting a gate plug in under the reverb unless the plug in has a built in gate knob. i know it prolly made no sense to put it on swae lee type vocals but yeh
I don't really recall since I manually change out those settings differently every song, but I could make a video on dialing that stuff in for the future so that way you could reference that video instead

Those are some good options another company you could go with is Stam Audio they make really good remakes too and I've tried that one that one is pretty solid too!

yeah but no matter what gear I have access to as long as I have a talented artist I could make anything sound good. Usually more established artists have access to better gear, but I only say that cuz there's no excuse for not being able to make music just because you don't have specific gear. Aka a luxury, which isn't always a must have imo... As long as you have the basic necessities you're good
Mane I got a tlm103, with a treated bedroom studio I can deliver vocals great; however I’ve only been mixing for a year so I could definitely have better mixes and masters
That's where the true magic comes in but if you could get a clean vocal recording and organize yourself and sessions along the way that'll take you wayyyy further than you think! Just keep at it
Unfortunately I don't use logic so I can't really say but I know if you mirror the session you can achieve something similar but since I don't have a mac that's something you would have to piece together on your end

I just became a member of your patreon but I was hoping you made Recording Templates Ready to Rec with Effects that sound good instead there a lot of seasons that aren’t even rec able so I’m very disappointed😣
As of right now all of the templates that I use are manual because when you dial in your stuff manually that is how you will get the best sound. Also depending on the gear that you're using plays a big role in the sound you get. I still have my templates up there for recording but for that reason, again I do everything manually. I don't leave any effects automatically set on the templates & currently I don't have any "presets" that are just drag and drop but I am dropping a private video on the Patreon showing how to use the templates I have there demonstrating the workflow and how I use the templates to make them sound good manually. If there were specific effects that you were looking to achieve & I made a video to it, then that's where you would get the majority of the sound. I'm sorry to hear that it wasn't what you were looking for but the Patreon is still fairly new and I'm yet to add more stuff I have planned there. I'll take your feedback and with that in mind I'll see what I can come up with. Something a little more beginner friendly that's easier to get into with some effects lightly dialed in, in the near future.

If you really wanted to build a sound you could save the plugin settings from the sessions provided & to apply them to your own template since "anyone can make a template" just rip the settings, dial them in to what works best for you so it's easier for you to record consistently fast... You gotta do some work yourself to build up a flow and sound that works best for you not everybody is gonna hold your hand every step of the way. If you don't like it or find any value in it, then you're always free to remove your membership anytime. That's not gonna stop the fact that we're going to add more stuff in the future and if it doesn't work for you then find something that does, it's not an investment that breaks the bank

You can use reverb calculators online and just type in the bpm to get all the values fore predelay, decay, etc. much faster!

What were the pre amp and compression settings? With the 73 & CL1B
