If you are like me, you can appreciate the design and details, but you aren’t really enamoured with the size and scale of the dolls. I have several Tweens, and I sometimes love them, but also sometimes want to get rid of them all. I think it’s because I basically prefer a Barbie-type doll.
@@c.w.2000 I wish lol omg was to rainbow high as ever after high was to monster high. Meaning, being able to fit into each others clothing. And I wish the teens outfits were on the larger scale dolls cause I LOVE so many of the tweens designs.
Imo, all the lol Tweens are all so good(some more loved than others I will admit). I've collected all the way to series 4. If OMG was the hook, then the tweens was the sinker or however the saying goes lmao. The small, adorable size struck me. And some of them had hidden details and surprisingly quality for dolls as small as them, which made me love them more. I love them all and I usual go back and forth with them but here's my usual top 5(spoilers there's gonna be a lot of pink) 5. Gracie Skates- At first I wasn't vibing her but then I saw a review that pointed out her checkered hair and then that's when I turned my eye(causing me to be completionsist lol) 4. Jenny Rox- I love her funky eyebrows!!! I love when OMG explores the eyebrow game 'cause more doll lines need to have crazy eyebrows like her! And her hair is so wild too! I love it! 3. Ali Dance- Ugghhhh the storytelling of this doll is so amazing!!! The way they effortlessly combined the ballerina and skater themes into a cohesive doll!!! She's so cute! 2. Max Wonder- A boy with a skirt...nuff said. Only OMG can do that fr. Literally the reason why I'm giving boy dolls a chance. He's so cute!! I love him and I wish they would give us more Tweens boys tbh. 1. Aya Cherry/Olivia Flutter- These two fight for first place. I love them for different reasons. Grew up with Sailor Moon and tons of Magical Girl shows so it was no surprise for me. And Olivia because she hits that y2k aesthetic sooo goood! And the quality and hidden details she has made me love her as much as Aya Cherry. I do feel like tweens have lost a bit edge that they used to. I'm hoping that MGA slows down their tween lines. I'm kinda tired of the 4-doll releases. I'd love to see a BFF line like how OMGs did for a while. But yeah that's my usual top picks. I love when people give their thoughts about the tweens, even if its sm more different than mine I could talk all day about them. We may have different tastes but I genuinely respect yours and it's completely valid that you feel that way of the tweens in general
-my top 3 tweens: gracie, lexi, max (lol is the only playline brand in recent memory that consistently takes risks w/ their boy dolls & I appreciate that) - I feel like fabric choice is what's holding back the more recent tweens. They all have really cute faces & hair, but like you said w/ cassie, the fabrics used are too cheap & bulky to really execute the designs - I see what you mean about lexi's hair. There's black accents in everything from the face down to the shoes, but her hair is entirely pastels. She needs a black underlayer or streaks to break it up some - ellie is the first omg/tween to be marketed in relation to a pet rather than a tot. it just so happens that the pet she's based on (ruff raver) is itself based on the super popular tot design mga was accused of plagiarizing (rainbow raver). I'd assumed they unofficially discontinued the character, since they've never reused her despite a huge chunk of the brand's output being themed rereleases of their most popular characters. I wonder why they've decided to tweenify her (via her pet), rather than just pick a different tot to design for? (That said I do think ellie's cute)
I absolutely LOVE your ranking video's! I'm a HUGE lover of all the omg doll's, including the tweens. I love them all, but I feel excited and informed to watch your ranking video's. They're entertaining and lot's of fun! Thanks for this ranking!❤❤❤❤
You can take Ali Dance's sweatshirt off. I like the Tweens, but I think Olivia is going to be my last. I don't like the ones that came out after series 4. My favorite is Aya Cherry, the first one I got.
I just got my first tween! Jenny rox was 10$ at target and I've been wanting to check them out! I ended up just stealing her clothes for my bratz lol Though I really like the tween body so I'm thinking of looking for a head to put on it cuz I'm still not crazy about lol faces
I renamed my Emma Emo doll to Cici Scene because the name also bothered me 😂 Also I felt the same way about Regina Harrt until she finally went on sale so I caved and I’m so glad I did. She’s definitely one of my favorites. And Gracie Skates is perfect, you’re 100% right there in my opinion ❤
Cassie Cool has almost the same hair and crown accessory as Regina Hart. It feels like they just took the loose theme of royal and purple and generated...a questionable design for sure.
I love the look of Billy from headswap line. I haven't had any interest for lol omg tweens but im going to do some research into her now. I like her pants over dress. Gives me Bratz Midnight Dance vibes
Did you knownthat the Marilyn Star dolls front hair turns pink in sunlight ? It says nothing about it on her box when we bought her but when we took her outside her hair color changed .
Although I really liked the first few series of this line, I only have one. And yeah I’ve moved very much away from them, especially with this series since they don’t have stands or wrist articulation and seem to have less fabrics and accessories, I think I probably won’t get any more (usually I don’t mind it if a doll doesn’t come with stands or wrist articulation, but since they all came with those before, it does bother me because the price is the same but they’re taking more away).
Ali Dance is my fav of all the tweens. My daughter & I also really like Freshest, Flora Moon, I forget the Cheshire Cat 1 name from masquerade, I really like Lexi Gurl as well. ❤️❤️❤️ also love Emo Girl 🖤🖤🖤 she was def a must have cause my daughters fav tot doll is Splatters her match. 😂😂😂 oh in head swap my must have was Curls to Crimps 1 😉😉😉
I have Aya cherry, I superglued a bobby pin to the underside of her beret so I could stick it at an angle on her head. I have 2 tweens at the moment, Aya and Ali Dance because they represent 2 things that I like, anime and ballet. I always thought that the tweens were the strongest when they had a strong theme, like the ones representing a specific time period or subculture, which is why I think that series 1 and head swaps were the weakest tweens.
I love the Tweens because of their tinyness, especially their little shoes, lol. I feel that the quality of the clothing and hair has gone down, especially with the head swap ones. I have all of the Tween line except one and I'm working on that. I'm very disappointed in the lack of wrist articulation and stands now. I guess that's the way MGA is going with OMG and RH also, which is sad.
I bought the Tween head-swap Winnie for $30, and I felt so ripped-off. I didn't like the second head, fine; I bought her for the pink lemonade colors. But her dress didn't fit correctly, and she suffered from the worst hair rooting I've seen. The quality control was asleep at the switch that day. Still salty about it.
When I opened her I was going to write to MGA and tell them I didn't get my second outfit! It took me a while to realize taking off the skirt made the second outfit, jeez. Her hair was really awful, washing helped slightly.
I have ALWAYS wondered why people find these dolls cute. This to me from coming from early 2000s Barbie, Monster High, Bratz, these LOL Dolls are ugly & gaudy. I still love you took the time to share what YOU like & think about these dolls. I love this kind of content❤
This just made me realize that even if i think most tweens are amazing dolls I still wouldnt actively try to get them, i wonder what that means 😅

I feel like this frequently lol

Me over here exclaiming WHAT?!?! at most of your rankings 😂🤣
I live to surprise lol
Me too! Lol! I love Rainn though : D

Tbh i too hate that her name is emma emo but tbh thinkin abt it-thats 100% a nickname a scene teen would go by so honestly i give it a pass a lil bit

A couple of people have said that haha
I have been waiting for this video! ❤❤❤ love the tweens.i wish they had all the Omgs designed as tween dolls.😂
top 3 tweens for me that other tweens can't compare is
1. Aya Cherry
2. Lexi Gurl
3. Olivia Flutter
these 3 are phenomenal
Did you knownthat the Marilyn Star dolls front hair turns pink in sunlight ? It says nothing about it on her box when we bought her but when we took her outside her hair color changed .
Oh, that's fun! Still obsessed with the design lol but that's a cool feature!

Bobby pin is so smart!
I stick a ball point cushion pin in their head to keep their hats on. I only have Jenny, Gracie, Darcy, Aya, and Goldie. The others are a chop.
Awww, Olivia Flutter reminds me of Barbie Diaries!!
The only tween doll I ever had is Gracie skates but I called her Grace Skates

Yikes I am so sorry
Edited because autocorrect really destroyed me lol

Rank Lalaloopsy!!!!
