What a vauable resource to be able to see real lip swatches in a video format instead of in still shots that have been touched up by the brand. I was sure I wanted Amarena. Now I think I would be more attracted to Tonka, given how unique it is in the collection.

I ADORE the Hyper Matte formula so much, but I’ve not tried the Soft Matte yet…and now I confidently have several shades down to try ( Meranti, Carmel, and Tonka).
I also really to try Marron in the Hyper Matte!

Lexi, wow you have a lot of the Prada lipsticks! I really like the new shades. Looks like Sephora has some still but Nordstrom & Selfridges don’t have the new ones in stock. Thank you for the swatches & try on. The shades look different online compared to your swatches. They all look very nice on you and don’t look too matte or drying. 😊🌺

Caramel and Tonka were both in my shopping bag, so a fortuitous review. My favorite mattes are from Guerlain and Charlotte Tilbury. I also have a few from Lisa Eldridge. How do they compare? Thanks for the video.💚
There is more information on formula comparisons in my first video here: ua-cam.com/video/VGjLjfEdlfw/v-deo.html. I don't wear CT mattes as they haven't worked with my skin chemistry but the Guerlain have a slightly thicker texture with a stronger feeling of pigment vs. powder. Overall, they are small differences but the Prada has more of a powdery slip to it.
@@LexiJong That actually tells me a lot. I think you mentioned the Givenchy Sheer Mattes. I can't wear those. The formula dries out my lips and it feels uncomfortable while I have it on. And yet I can wear CT mattes NP. Body chemistry is so variable! I like my mattes more on the creamy side. So the Prada wouldn't be my fave.Thanks, Lex.
nice video, just an info for pronunciation of tiepolo: it's not "tie-polo" but is pronunced "tee-eh-polo". It's the name of a 1700 artist(my favourite lol), known for his frescos and the beutiful sky tones he painted ceilings:)

I'm still wondering if the brand will be carried at Sephora Canada bc it isn't to date. Nonetheless, I absolutely love a great lipstick review and try on and lipsticks are your jam! ♥️✨💯

Thank you! I believe it is the center taupe shade in the Prada 03 Pulse palette. I use that one often as a one and done shade.

Hi Lexi, apologies if I missed this; do you find that the Prada lipsticks have a scent and taste? I've seen mixed reviews on that and would love to hear from you on if the scent / taste last or if it's not bothersome. Thank you Lexi!
There is nothing bothersome to me but there is a scent. I try hard not to lick my lips with lipstick so there is no noticeable taste for me with any accidental contact or if i'm eating.
Really love your video production. The unfortunately thing for me is our skin tone is different and the colours you switch will never look the same on me.
I'm sorry to hear that. I have a neutral undertone so once you figure out if you are cooler or warmer than me, it should be easier for you to get an idea of the colors but it is always a challenge when skintones are not a match.

I bought the B105 Tonka on the black Friday Sale in Germany, the color pigment is strong i wear a light layer it is comfortable looks great but the parfum and the light metal Pack. i don`t like on this lipsticks for their price.

I want concealer lips can you recommend a shade and formula please?
It really depends on your skintone. I think for true concealer lips, go with matte. Something like Alabaster in the hyper matte or perhaps Nudo in the soft mattes may work for you or you could even use a lip pencil (Chanel has a light one called peachy nude which works for me). Makeup by Mario has some really light concealer-type shades in both satin and mattes. I like the satin formula better though, his mattes aren't great imo.

I wish I did not have sensitivity to scent; I opened this lipstick and immediately closed it because I found the scent overwhelmingly unpleasant.
I'm so sorry to hear that! It's hard to find nice lipsticks without fragrance and I'm sure it must be very frustrating!
Is it really worth $50? That’s crazy for just lipstick unless it fills in wrinkles or lasts all day. U never said anything about wear or quality
