- Guitar Center's Product Spotlight provides a comprehensive overview of the Yamaha Reface Series.
Yamaha Reface keyboards are designed around the practical needs of contemporary musicians. The name of the series, "reface," is a conflation of the idea of reimagining and the legacy of Yamaha's many groundbreaking keyboard instrument interfaces. Among the innovations that is hearkens back to are the legendary Yamaha Combo Organ, DX7 and CS5 keyboards. The series includes the DX, YC, CS and the CP.

7:22 "with the real time controls, I can even sh*t further"
He made me laugh and did the product justice, great demo!
🤣
Yeah, it's funny, but he did say more "shift" than "sh*t".
I want a motivational poster that says "Shit Further".
“Shit further with Yamaha Reface Keyboards!”
The best Reface review I've even seen. Simple and direct...
Guys I meant to say Aux inputs. and on the Reface YC and CS there 5 types not 6.
Thats what does happen when having too much fun.
You Also Said "In Real Time" Far Too Much But Either Way Loved The Demonstration You Def Sold Me On The Product And I already Have a Yamaha DX-7 And DX-7II But For Traveling On The Road And Bored In A Hotel Room These (All Four) Are Def Something Worth The Price Of Admission
Yeah - strange that he'd say 6 types! And twice...
Now there is three keyboards that I wish that I can buy right now. The CP, YC, and the DX. But, the YC and the CP is the ones that I like the most.
Kayanda Eddings sale opinion, i just don't have the money for both. I'll have to choose one. i'm leaning towards the CP bit there's the toy piano instrument that seems pretty useless and no looper like the CS
I am commenting in real time.
YOOOOOO
hey, the controls... are they real time? I didn't hear it mentioned.
Yeah, pretty sure.
@@theaveragecactus Yeah he said ‘real time’ about 40 times, pretty sure our mate here was joking..
@@theaveragecactus Yep, I heard it with my own two ears. "Real time." Anyone saying these controls can't be used in real time just isn't playing with a full deck.
@@theaveragecactus r/Whoosh
rest in peace average cactus
Very relevant - very tempting to buy...
great sales pitch!!!!give this man a commission!
I want them all!!!
I am looking the portable one with straps. Chordless.
hey amigo muy bueno saludos desde tijuana
I'm waiting for the psr module reface by Yamaha, a mini keyboards with compact sound, utility and light to carry to any function..
Why? For 200 low quality short PCM samples that have no recognisable status in well known songs?
Who sees the avid s6 w/neve side car and wooden sides? wow!
One more C pentatonic demo and I am going to move to a different planet.
proisle hahahahaha it's just what most people will do anyway with it, I'm not that good at piano improvisation and for now i can just do a couple pentatonic scales.
@@GrumpyStormtrooper All good, hahah just bugging you. Thank you for the video. (and I am going to buy one: just got the Cp one)
I was just going to say the same thing!
What is it about synth demo's where they think every other person wants to play at lightning speed?
I'd rather hear how the sound moves, and its complexities.
Why not real piano instead of toy piano on CP? There is a hidden classic piano built into it, but no easy access, have to turn the defice off and turn the knob in between presets...
but it's still there, better than nothing
look for surface cp easter egg, there is a way to get a classic piano sound
@@AzureAbsynthe he already said that
The toy piano has bell sounds at the lower octaves so maybe that's why...uh da no..
Yo the fucking keyboard has midi to play a bigger keyboard more keys dummy. Tf yall stupid as fuck B.
Good demo. I understand the reasons why Yamaha limits the Organ sounds to one model, and Piano to the other, but if they just had three basic piano sounds included in the Organ model, it would make it a lot more worth it, and likely that I would buy it. Seriously, how much would it cost Yamaha to add three to four piano sounds to the Organ model, compared to expecting that everyone will spend another $400.**, for just those couple more sounds that they already have on another keyboard?
Honestly, I like that the CP is its own model and the YC is separate because then I can play the organ over a sustained delay melody from the CP. More fun by more dynamics. I am thrilled by these keyboards, they're the best thing since sliced 🍞.
Only the CP has the delay?
DX and CS too
I like the one with knobs on
CP. You've got excellent taste as that was the one I like too, so I bought it and it rocks.
We found delay lama
are you stuck with using equal temperament with these?
afraid so.
3:30 "...real-time controls, as you play, or when you are performing"...
Whatever that means LOL!
i dramk evry time he said real time and thas twa sa badmistake
OMG THIS IS THE FUNNIEST THING IVE EVER SEEN
Someone doesn’t like the YC!
korg was cheeper
the lighting on his face is really strange... Is that just me?
If the FBI is looking for any murderers in the area, maybe they should swab that left sleeve...
We’ll done yamaha 👌🏻we’ll done 😈
Great demo! Too bad the piano talent is not included with the purchase.
Hi "unintelligible" from yahama. I'm Pedro, from Portugal
Its cool for in your car. Just leave it in there and your stoked, it will get used. For me when I get home I'd rather use my Yamaha 88 board that costed half the price, tho, jus sayin.
You can use any of the 37 fuckers on ur 88 keyboard stupid ass. Midi look on the fucking back asswipe
Toy piano sound? Really? Why?
his fake tan is melting, in real-time
No it isn't shut up.
The organ doesn't make it. It's almost laughable.
Why are most product demos just a guy showing off?
He doesn't even give you an idea of how these things sound.
The Reface DX, I've heard MUCH better demo's - and if I'd seen this one first, it would've put me right off - he makes it sound like a PSR home keyboard.
