I am utterly fascinated by the Empire State Building-an absolute icon. During my recent visit to New York City, the pinnacle of my experience was undoubtedly the Empire State Building. From every street corner, its majestic presence captivated me, and I couldn’t tear my eyes away. I explored four observation decks: The Edge, One World Trade Center, Summit Vanderbilt, and the 86th and 102nd floors of the Empire State Building. Each vantage point offered a unique perspective, but it was when I stood atop the Empire State Building that I truly appreciated its magnificence up close. Another iconic building in NYC is the Chrysler Building, and I can only hope to see its interior someday. Burj Khalifa is modern and shiny, but my heart belongs to Empire State Building
You missed the best observation deck that actually provides the best view of in New York City, and that is 30 Rockefeller Center. It’s outdoor observation decks are completely unobstructed, and the view gives you, vista’s where you feel like a part of the city, because it is surrounded by other skyscrapers, and has the best view of Central Park as well! People underestimate it because it’s not the tallest observation deck, but New Yorkers know it’s the best observation deck of them all.
The burj is a cool design and obviously super tall but being a Boston guy with relatives in NY the Empire state bldg will always be The skyscraper, ever since I saw it in person as a 1960's kid.
This is not mentioned enough. I don’t know why shows fail to mention this, also the fact the source of labor, and their treatment. Humans treated like sewage, sewage getting ‘special’ treatment.
This Arab countries r doing whatever they want n our leaders r not doing anything cos apparently they r BLACK GOLD PRODUCERS. From human rights issue, to their bizzare religious laws..... Phew
Debunked forever ago. Only upon completion when the entire new district was being added to the city did they have to extend the sewer system and services. It's not a present thing nor has been for awhile.
Perhaps if the Burj Khalifa's was hooked up to citywide waste disposal system it would be impressive. The fact is, the Burj literally transports its sewage daily in convoys of lorries, who transport it to a waste processing facility. That's a grossly antiquated and inefficient system. Dubai has little to no infrastructure whatsoever.
@@SO-ud6ro Yes, its size is impressive. However, a modern waste disposal and sewerage system linked to a mains would be more impressive, especially considering it's a 21st century structure and holds such a prestigious image. Instead, it relies on an archaic, grossly outdated, not to mention, not very environmentally friendly system. I do not consider that impressive, more so since the ESB has a modern sewage system.
@@SO-ud6ro I'm not certain of the date. No doubt, you're correct. No matter the date, the fact remains, they scrapped the plan, which is preposterous. From what I know, any infrastructure in that part of the world is paid for by the developer, and not the government, which is also an archaic approach to city planning. In fact, Dubai generally has approached city planning similar to Detroit, which relied mostly on cars to get from one place to another. This was due to areas being cut off from one another and very little attention paid to public transport. In recent years, Dubai has tried to introduce more public transportation. But, looking at some of them, I wonder if it's too little, too late. If you ask me, the true test of a modern city is the standard of its infrastructure. Without it, a city is a shell. And, in many ways, that's how I see Dubai. It's all glitzy and pretty on the outside, but on the inside, it's hollow.

Great video very well done ✅

Wait fans to get rid of the smoke but will accellerate any fire in the building? Sounds genius.
can't wait for Nashville to build into new heights
Thoroughly enjoyed this series ❤❤
13 months? Considering foundation and all, that’s like a floor every couple of days… so impressive
Empire state hands down the winner 🥇 love it. And the Twin towers before they were destroyed such iconic buildings 😢
100 years later the rest of the world is catching up with the empire state bldg, and making them taller (took enough time)
Nice
But the burj needs trucks to empty it’s septic tanks regularly. The Empire State doesn’t.
How in the world do you build a flagship skyscraper and not have a built in proper plumbing system? So embarrassing!

Anyone ever been to the top floor?

Its taller two empire's stacked. That's quite impressive

@bullzdawguk if I'm not mistaken they scrapped that plan after the 08 market collapse. It became too expensive for them.

If your building needs trucks to remove sewage , the other one wins every time!
Empire state building is sitting on a granite bedrock
Numbers ALL METRIC all drivel .. out-of-here.
That was not a good comparison at all. The burj Khalifa is way better than Empire State.
