Not Sarcasm or playing, horrible what they do, We're going schedule some Baptist Bible College that has fifty total students, Not athletes!! students!! And what will score 200 points against them and say we accomplished something. Laugh so hard when Drake beat them by sixty. Sorry NAIA Scars, lol
Not a lot of folks are talking about the connection she has to Iowa with her brothe, who sje is close to, r going to Grinnell college not far from here. The same team lisa bluders kid plays basketball for. Who knows how much this connection influenced her to commit but it didn't hurt. Usually, with these recruits their is some connection back to the program. As good a deal is I hope they could land Skinner who was also at the same Ohio State game. She is rated higher, has great tape on her and just awarded Gatorade player of the year in Utah. Having her with deal along with deal, greenway, Hayes, heiden, Houston, guyton and Bjorn from kc area would be fantastic. It's exciting to be a hawk with the hawks women in the mix for so many of these top recruits. And I didn't even me tion spieser or the point guard from grimes that has been tearing it up who is very warm to Iowa and being recruited by everyone. Lost in all this nobody has given much attention to callie lavin from solon being awarded miss basketball in Iowa. I thought this was odd.
Glad i'm not the only one who watched Skinner's tape. Hadn't heard of her until the OSU game. Her competition is relatively weak but by the time I finished watching, I was genuinely surprised she wasn't ranked #1 guard in the country. Bueckers esq

But to have her ranking, get player of the year in Utah she has to be doing something right and also has a long offer list I belive. I think bjorn and greenway have visited a number of times. I think point guard jenica Lewis from Johnston has as well. Sounds like she has built a good relationship with Iowa. She is blowing up and being recruited by everyone. I was also impressed by her tape if you had the chance. Bjorn from kc area is also a top 10 to 15 ish result also. I had no idea greenway has blown up to like 17 in her class. I believe she has said she wants to play for Iowa. I hope Iowa can make that happen. She is a scoring machine already hitting 2000 points I belive in her sophmore year.
@@brandonburr4900 yea only have seen greenway’s highlights but she is a blur in transition and an absolute bucket from 3. Bjorn’s versatility would be a game changer. Rebounds, lanky, blocks shots, really good handle, solid looking shot. Both greenway and Bjorne have some toughness to their games that every team needs. (Like syd)
It took 3 seasons playing together to get the 22 / 23 team to the NCAA final. There is talent coming next season. We will see how long it takes to make them a team.
Now with USC and UCLA joining the BiG, she will be able to play in front of friends and family maybe a couple times every year, which probably helped with her decision.
There is a High School girl on my granddaughters team that has the skills to be the next CC. Seek her out scouts. She plays on a 1B team. That is all the clues you get. One clue I left out is she lives in Wa. State.
If you are a 4 or 5 star player on the West Coast, why would you stay there if you are in a non revenue sport. Very few of these players are going to make a career out of that sport. You are in college to get a degree while playing your sport. Stanford is the powerhouse in women's basketball out West. Most all of your away Conference games starting in the Fall are on the East Coast. Stanford biggest competitors in most grass(Football excluded) sports is the ACC. Just accept a scholarship to UNC or another team. Normal travel less missed classes. Stanford will have a insane amount of travel. If you would normally go to the USC or UCLA, you can go to the Midwest(or conference best for your sport) and avoid all that travel and missed school time. Iowa WCBB is relatively close to most of these away games. The ladies got really worn down. Imagine them with flying to the Midwest/East Coast 12+ times. Only a handful of WCBB teams actually make money. Last 2 years, Iowa is one of them. If you need your family near by you probably will stay out West unless they move with you. NIL rarely effects non revenue sports.

Iowa wasn't obscure before Caitlin Clark but she certainly brought in tons more eyeballs to the game. For the sake of Iowa WBB and women's basketball in general, I hope a lot of Caitlin Clark fans who aren't necessarily WBB fans or Iowa WBB fans will become Iowa fans and WBB fans.
