This is my favorite battle in all of Pokemon. Red doesn't speak (others give entire righteous speeches), it takes place on top of a huge mountain, and all you hear is the wind and your footsteps as you approach the beast.
So when red was defeated he just blacked out like how you do when you run out of Pokemon. He's probably at the Pokemon center right now. That's why he's gone xD The theories are wrong lol he didn't just vanish because he was a ghost and he's not dead he literally just blacked out how you do when you loose a battle. Because red is just the protagonist from the first game.

I remember first finding Red and freaking out a little and I had confidence I would beat him. After I sent my lvl. 63 Typhlosion and saw that level 88 Pikachu I just took that L gracefully. Eventually I came back though 😅
Red is not dead, As you can see we never talked in all PokeMon games. And red is a "trainer" So that means he doesn't talk. He even blacks out just like a normal "Trainer". Us trainers are invincible.. So that means red is invincible, Us trainers don't come back home ever. And red is a normal trainer. We don't talk either in the game. Prove me if i am wrong but i don't care..

Long story short, there was this one time when I had played through the entirety of SoulSilver with just my Feraligatr, and I made it all the way to Red before his Pikachu put a swift end to everything I had accomplished. I can't remember the details, as this was really, really far back for me. All I can remember is that Feraligatr influenced me in ways that no other Pokémon have, despite not even growing up with the original Generation 2 games.
In pokemon x there should be a tournament of champions. So like the trainers from past games that beat the champions in their region. Will be competitors. And like only after you beat the champion in kalos. You can attend it too. GameCastX1 Red is overrated as hell, we need more than just _one_ final battle. I'd much rather face Steven in Emerald than Red. Red is good for the final battle in the Johto games; but anymore than that would get really stale.

Laughing because Snorlax and Lapras have so much health, that when they are hit with a super effective move, you can fall asleep for an hour, wake up and still see their health bar depleting lol
What I find funny is Barry is the second most powerful trainer of all, most powerful rival (as in someone you can’t play as in any games). Barry’s Pokémon become in the level 80 range in Pokémon platinum if you beat the elite 4 enough times. Unless I’m forgetting anyone else (not including red, he’s a playable character in red, blue, fire red, and leaf green)
I beat red with level 55-60 pokemon using max revives, revives, full restores, and potions while also using lugia's pressure ability to stall out his final pokemon into struggle. Didn't have to grind up at all, wish I would've recorded it!

this match was as every bit as epic as the original 2000. without a doubt the greatest moment in pokemon history.... there is a reason why GSC story/adventure is the greatest of all time. the series was meant to end right here.
I remember playing Pokemon HeartGold a long long time ago but the game that I had is long gone now and I don't think I'm ever going to get another one anytime soon it's gone maybe even forever I wish you can still be here with me today there was so much more I could have been doing onto it so much more so much more when I was still back in school when I was about 13 to 14 I still wish I could have had gone to the Pokemon championship games but now my chances of going to the Pokemon championship video game tournament is over 😔👍

Personal thoughts, Red is not that difficult to defeat, At all really. Once you get past the over levelling of his team, He's not too hard. My team was as following: Meganium lv79 Sunny Day Solar Beam Energy Ball Toxic Gyarados Lv82 Surf Hydro Pump Hurricane Ice Beam Metagross lv76 Meteor Mash Agility Psychic Cosmic Power Dragonite lv87 Stone Edge Outrage Fly Hurricane Golem lv80 Rock Slide Earthquake Rock Climb Superpower Lucario lv90 Aura Sphere Close Combat Metal Claw Bone Rush It could use some improvements in places, But it gets the job done.
After doing what you think there is whatever there is in the post game, you have one more battle, and a toughest battle with non other than Red. He's the toughest of all trainers. His team is above level eighty. He'll have Pikachu, Snorlax, Lapras, Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise.
Red's Pokemon won't go down without a fight. Even though your Pokemon is at a type advantage, he will still target your disadvantages. My team was: Togekiss - L69 Typhlosion - L70 Lapras - L67 Steelix - L69 Ampharos - L70 Heracross - L68 *I really didn't meet the L70 and up requirement for all 6 Pokemon
Finally a decent battle against Red with Non-legendary pokemon No item usage A set style to make the challenge less easier Strategy Slightly under-leveled Pokemon And a pretty short video
I remember fighting red with my best team and always losing. So I got bored and created a fire type team which were mostly around lvl 10 - 20 and my lvl 89 typhlosion. I wanted to challenge red again but I forgot to swap to my good team. But somehow I managed to sweep all of reds team with just typhlosion.
My team is Meganium,Slowbro,Nidoking,Scizor,Magmortar and Lugia. What level should I get to (that's possible) I'm guessing 60-ish rn and this is also my first playthrough of HGSS and it's a great game!
I wish there was strong trainers that you could fight like red in post games. Maybe a trainer with level 90-100 Pokemon. Then it would be fun and challenging fight :D

Does anyone else feel bad that R/B/Y and G/S/C were all on the GameBoy, but FR/LG and HG/SS are on the GBA and DS respectively? I just kinda feel bad that there is a console difference between the two. Idk, might just be me.

Po. opening Industries I can explain it. Stab means same type attack bonus, or in short if the move is the same type as your Pokémon it does more damage than normal like if you used it with a Pokémon that has a different type, it makes the move stronger. For example, if pikachu used thunder it would get a buff but if dragonite used it there would be no buff. Priority moves are just moves that always go first like quick attack. I hope I helped :)

The mega battle has gotten better since Generation II, but the movesets of the opponents still need better moves.

After doing what you think there is whatever there is in the post game, you have one more battle, and a toughest battle with non other than Red. He's the toughest of all trainers. His team is above level eighty. He'll have Pikachu, Snorlax, Lapras, Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise.

Red's Pokemon won't go down without a fight. Even though your Pokemon is at a type advantage, he will still target your disadvantages.

I remember fighting red with my best team and always losing. So I got bored and created a fire type team which were mostly around lvl 10 - 20 and my lvl 89 typhlosion. I wanted to challenge red again but I forgot to swap to my good team. But somehow I managed to sweep all of reds team with just typhlosion.

I wish there was strong trainers that you could fight like red in post games. Maybe a trainer with level 90-100 Pokemon. Then it would be fun and challenging fight :D

Po. opening Industries I can explain it. Stab means same type attack bonus, or in short if the move is the same type as your Pokémon it does more damage than normal like if you used it with a Pokémon that has a different type, it makes the move stronger. For example, if pikachu used thunder it would get a buff but if dragonite used it there would be no buff. Priority moves are just moves that always go first like quick attack. I hope I helped :)
