Generally I try to get the mag flip closer to when the turbo is running out, as you essentially extend the time that you keep that speed. The moment you touch the ground (or after some period of time) you will lose all your momentum and return to the speed your speedometer says. For that first mag-flip I also found (possibly placebo, but it seemed like it was the case) that if you avoid using the thrusters and pitching your car for as long as possible you will keep the speed for longer. Also getting further from the wall will provide a larger boost than being close to the wall and pull left the entire time to get more speed out of it. For the second mag-flip try to get the mag flip to pull you to the left side of the bridge, use a small drift to the right before takeoff to line this up easier.
Basically the further you can be when you get the mag-flip from the spot you are being pulled to, the stronger the force. So if you can try and angle your car so it pulls you to the farthest part of the bridge you'll go faster. If you get pulled to the building on the left you will get pulled too far that way, so aiming for the far side of the bridge is your best choice. It's difficult to aim, so really just do your best to get the mag-flip at all, but it is a consideration if you want extra speed
