Is a wok worth the money? I see you using yours quite often, and I think it would be useful. However, I can't imagine paying $80 (Canadian dollars) for something that I won't get maximum use out of.
well, you can use a pan if you wish. In many Asian house, a wok is used constantly from cooking curry to frying rice to even deep frying chicken nuggets.

I made this today. I read the recipe wrong and added 4 tbsp of ghee instead of 4 tsp, but it still turned out great. Thanks for the great recipe. :)

In Nepal we mainly use black til.. We add ginger paste too on the syrup..:)

A good chikki (brittle) should have crunch and easy to snap. This looks chewy which is not pleasant at all.
