2:16 was one of the greatest moments in rugby history. If I remember correctly, it was Anton Bresler who he held up. 6' 7", weighing 250lbs!!!! Mtawarira, we will forever miss you playing for the Sharks. Thank you! Great reaction
Fum Fact, The Club he played for in South Africa, the Sharks, built him, his own special section in their gym, because he benches and lifts more than any other player they had, and had to get special equipment for him. His nickname is the Beast due to this and him consistently showing throughout his career his strength, as shown briefly in this video, and is arguably one of the best players ever to be in the prop position in the scrum. But best of all, he is one of the most humble and kind people ever.
When he's wearing the green jersey, he's playing for South Africa, when he's wearing the other jerseys (black and white) he's playing provincial rugby against other (mostly) South Africans - they're all big bois!
You wanted a USA rugby update? Check out, United States vs Chile - Rugby World Cup 2023 qualifiers, was a 2 legged game (Home and Away). Game 1 was in Santiago, Chile. Then game 2 was played in Denver, Colorado USA. The team with the highest Aggregate automatically qualifies for the 2023 Rugby World Cup and takes the Americas slot, the loser needs to play another tournament in November against 1 European team, 1 African team and 1 Pacific/Asia team. And then the winner of that tournament gets the final slot for the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
I would definitely suggest you have a look at Bakkies Botha. He was one of the hardest hitters in rugby. Another awesome South African character, that was Nicknamed "The Butcher" by the French, and by his team mates as "The Enforcer" for his extremely aggressive Rugby.
