I have seen this style of wreath around lately and decided to dip my toes into the waters of the Yarn Ribbon Wreath. The colours and the pattern of the ribbon for this wreath are completely up to you, the wreath maker, and can change it up to suit your needs. This wreath is so versatile, you can use it all year round and every day, for any occasion or event. I've never watched anyone use this technique until now and I have to say I'm blown away !!! I absolutely love love this one !! Everything about it just works !! You make it look easy I'm so glad I stayed up a little later to catch up cause this one just stoled the show !! Thanks for sharing Dave ✌️🎶❤️
Amazing great details for someone like me that is slow to catching on . Lol.. but I watched this one time and not two or three loved your step by step instructions 😀😀😀
One of many fav's I watched you make. You so inspired me I've mastered your technique and have made several and have given as gifts. Thank you so much for sharing your creative talents.
I have seen this style of wreath done where they cut and glue little rectangles of ribbon between the yarn. Your technique is ingenious... no cutting and your bow turned out amazing. This is a gorgeous wreath. Thank you for sharing!
I’ve never seen this style of wreath. It’s so unique. I love the black and burlap combination. Know where that wreath would look great Dave? On my door!!😂😂
Hi Trish, thank you so much. I saw this design done before and wanted to see if I could do it as well. HAHA, yes it would look amazing on your door!!! 🖤 🖤
This wreath is 5 *****! Color is so rich, so classy! And what an unusual pattern, nothing like I’ve seen before leave it to you to make it. I just love it! Great job!
Awww, thank you so much Gizmo. I'm so glad to hear it is liked. I can't take credit for coming up with the design as I saw this somewhere and wanted to try it, but I did pick out the ribbons and yarn myself. LOL Thank you!!! Take care 😊
Hello Dave I am absolutely in love with wreath nice colors and beautiful ribbon a wreath i never done before but definitely want to try this looks so darn pretty thank you for sharing have a wonderful wee
Hi Liz, I am in love with this wreath technique as well. Just so many possibilities to make different colours and for different occasions. Thank you so much for your support. Take care and enjoy your weekend. 😊
Dave just happened to find your channel a few days ago and of course hit the subscription button. After watching this video I now know how to make this kind of wreath . Now I am going to watch more of your videos.
You have outdone yourself AGAIN Dave!!! I love this wreath. I am visualizing a Christmas one with green and chevron red ribbon! This is so exciting!! It’s really beautiful Dave..I would love it with the ribbon anyway but my favorite is at the bottom:) Thank You so much for sharing your gorgeous wreath technique ❤️
Hi Deborah. Thank you so much for the wonderful comment and yes, I can total picture a Christmas wreath as well with green and red. Beautiful idea. Have a great day and take care.
An easy way to do this is wrap the wreath frame in yarn first. Cut ribbon into 3 inch pieces and tuck each piece into yarn following pattern. If ribbon buckles slightly, add some hot glue to tap into place. Easy peasy.
Okay Scottie, that phrase "Gothic Farmhouse" is the best!!! I just love it. I think I may have to "borrow" that phrase in the future. LOL. Thank you so much as always, a great supporter of my channel. Take care. 🖤 🖤 🖤
The wreath and colors are absolutely beautiful. I can’t believe how quick you made the bow. I must give it a try. Making bows are a little challenging. Thanks again for another great tutorial ❤
Hi Joan, thank you so much for watching and for the kind words. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video, my teaching and my humour. HAHA. YAY!!! Take care. 🖤
I have seen a few demos of this style wreath, yours is the best, I didn't like the way the ribbon sort of puckers while moving around the ring, the way you fold and glue the ribbon makes so much sense. I'm so glad I found your video, I've wanted to make this style wreath, but didn't like the puckers, or wrong angles of the ribbon, now I will make one of these wreaths, thanks to you. Thank You for Sharing your Time, and Talent with all of us. I always enjoy your videos, and learn a lot from them. I always put my bows on the left side.
Hi Sabrina. Thank you so much for watching and for such a wonderful comment. I truly appreciate it. I'm so glad you liked the way I folded and glued the ribbon down around the wreath. I thought it made a lot of sense to do that to keep it flat and in place. I'm happy you liked that little tip. Have a great day and I hope you have a lot of fun making this wreath. Take care. 😊
This is Totally Original! I've never seen a wreath made like this. Really creative use of Chunky Yarn and Wired Ribbon! I'm so glad I came across your videos! Can't wait to see what you have for the Holidays and Christmas! 😃♥️🎃🕷️🕸️🎃♥️
I just love this wreath! It was also pretty easy to do once I got started. You always make things look so easy, especially with the mesh from the dollar store. Why aren’t you always fighting to detangle or separate the layers?🤣 I’m also glad you put a ribbon on it, I never know what to do when you don’t.
Hi Leila, thank you so much. I'm glad you found it easy to do to make this one. YAY. It is so much fun to make for sure. Oh, I do fight with the mesh from the dollar store...LOL...you just don't see it as much. 😊😊😊 But I do have issues sometimes. Hope you have a good day and take care.

Yes, I have seen this around also and needed to try it and get it out there too....it's so fun to make, and not that hard either, once you get used to the pattern (which can change if you want too) it's a breeze. I'm headed to Michael's this weekend to get more yarn. HAHA. Thanks so much Tamala. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Fantastic idea! I have a big skein of chunky black yarn and now I know what to do with it.😊 As always, your choice of ribbon is great. I was going to use Halloween themed ribbon but your ribbon choice is more versatile. A winner!👍❤ Take care.🙂🙂
