Good work on the doctor’s part. Very difficult area to work in. Ear canals are narrow and sensitive. The individual undergoing the procedure must have been miserable before having their ear canal cleaned out. I’m sure they were very thankful to be relieved of that misery. Antibiotic/antifungal ear drops and care they should recover fine.
Your precision on the last few minutes of the peel was incredible, and the whole video was great. I have diligently watched several audiologists, ENTs, and nurses for several years and have never seen that much black fungus on any of the channels I follow. Thanks for the video.
What came first - the fungus or the bug? I’m betting the bug flew in and died and the microscopic spores on its corpse used the opportunity of food and a nice moist, dark environment to go nuts.
That's what I said I think they just play with it like that just for the audience to keep the audience attention because seriously that could have got some tweezers and pull all that crap right outfit One thing how the hell did you get a bug in your nose or air or wherever that was because I had a bug in my ear one day and that crap hurt like I don't know what it's very painful I have to get some warm oil and pour down my ear to get it out matter of fact my boyfriend did it and he didn't even tell me what it was until after it came out cuz he knew I was going to have a fit so my question is where is this bug because if it's in the ear this person doesn't have any feelings because I'm like I said that crap really hurts and how long was it in there all that pus and everything God it was it I can only imagine how that person smelled
They use the vacuum first to try and break it loose. If they use the tool first there is a chance of shoving it down in the ear further and damaging the ear drum.

I can't believe you are lecturing a professional on treating the fungus they HAVE ALREADY IDENTIFIED, lol. It says so right in the video title. I'm pretty sure that even the most basic practitioners know how to treat an infection or fungus, lol. As we learned from watching audiologist Nick Chitty years ago, a Jobson Horne is good for dealing with certain types of wet wax. That type is genetically associated with Europeans and Africans. Dry wax is generically associated with Eastern Asians and the North and South American native indians. Either way, a Jobson Horne is not going to do much to that dry white skin adhering to the side of the ear canal. In any serious case of wax firmly attached to the ear canal, just "scooping stuff out" isn't the way to go. What you will see with ANY tool is they are gently prying the wax *away* from the side and pulling it toward the center of the canal - not up and out. In most videos of dry earwax, they go deeper and deeper along the sides, separating the wax from the wall. If they tried to yank it out before freeing it, it would rip the heck out of any skin where it was still attached. That's why tweezers are last choice, or used when you have a big piece loose and ready to come out. Weak-ass suction is first choice, although it drives us impatient users crazy, lol. Some patients can't stand the suction noise, so manual tools are needed. Suction is the most gentle in pulling the wax away from the skin without scraping. The Rosen inserter or St Barts hook are good for separating really dried, hardened wax from the wall if suction isn't working. I'm quite certain that the practitioner is aware of how absolutely abnormal that eardrum is, since they didn't try to clear it. Medication is clearly needed, anyone can see that.
It is not uncommon for a bug to go into a ear. The most common bug is a cockroach. I adore my ENT doctor. He is is gentle, he is kind, and he is awesome! I have a hole in each ear drum. I had a polyp in my left ear. And sometimes I get ear wax impaction. So I know how painful ear issues can be.
