Always nice to see how other pack and sort their equipment on the bike. Quite surprised to see how much stuff you bring Anders. Well made video and really interesting. Thank you 👏🏻
Thank you my friend! Yes, I do bring a lot of stuff, especially on the tools and spare part side. Also, the pillow is something most people don't bring. I guess with age comes a need to be comfortable.
@@aroundonabike5028 Haha, I don't go anywhere without my air pillow, so I understand you completely. This just goes to show what you started out this video with. This is a How I video, not a how to video. When you go on travels you gain a lot of knowledge about your bike, your setup etc. There is no right or wrong, just what works for me. And it changes from time to time as well. I always pick up great ideas in videos like this for my own travels. This is perfect and shows that we do some much similar, but still keep it unique 👏🏻
@tshansen you're right! There's no "right or wrong" way to do it. Whatever works for you is the point. Also, like you say, itt changes from time to time. Adaptability is a skill worth practising and mastering. I wouldn't, for instance, pack all those spares for an overnight trip to a bivouac.
It take some times and good knowledge of the bike and the needs to put together a good packing solution. I’m thinking about to bring a pillow on my next trip. Good sleep is really important and I’m a little picky about my pillow. When staying at hotels I sometimes ending up using a sweatshirt as a pillow. Most pillows out there is to hard and so thick for my taste 🤔
Thanks for this, It give a good starting point for someone like me - many decades away and now tempted back into light adventure. Good presentation!👍
Thanks buddy!

Wow! We do think so alike! Yes, a good night's sleep is important. I also sometimes use sweatshirts as pillow 🤣🤣🤣

Thank you so much!
Regarding the charging, I have to admit that I don't really know. Sorry!
Cheers
Anders
Umbrella?
I've been thinking about it, but haven't gotten around to adding an umbrella to the kit.
Brilliant solutions! Like that you made youre solution's yourself. It gave me some ideas. Thanks 😊
That was really useful thanks Anders. Are you planning a big trip for 2024?
@@bryanrough641 I'm always planning a big trip or two. If I get around to actually going on one, that I don't know yet.
