I'm not interested in these dolls, but the beautiful princess look (seriously, you look so lovely in that dress) and magical teleportation spin get a like!
The theory (at least I don’t think anyone has DIRECTLY confirmed it) is that Disney wants the cheap ones in stores so people will associate Disney Store with higher quality
Thanks for the line up good review , very cool nice gift from Matel you have done very well with your Chanel 👍x I’m sure my granddaughter will love these. I have my first brand new in box collector Doll Lily coming Monday, all my other dolls are from eBay second hand, so you can emagine my excitement 🤩🥳 And my first rainbow high as I only collect OMG. Bye for now and thanks x love the outtakes 😂😂😂 very funny putting those in 👍
OH MY GODDD im so incredibly proud of you brooke. you absolutely deserve the pr, and i hope that them sending this to you opens more of this stuff for you. you look gorgeous in that dress by the way! the intro was really fun. im just so proud of you and excited for you, ive been watching you for some time now, im its so awesome seeing you finally get more of the recognition that you deserve! its crazy how hard you work, you are so cool
I think the part of the pattern on Cinderella’s skirt that you couldn’t make out are the mice! Also, thanks for being so chill about the molded on tops - it’s a super reasonable choice for a budget doll line, but a lot of collectors have been saying super negative stuff about them and it was kinda bumming me out 😅 they’re not geared towards collectors, but that’s okay! Mattel will almost certainly make dolls with all fabric fashion later on, and I’m happy to wait tbh
Yes!! Absolutely agreed! I was so happy to see that reaction. These are aimed at age groups that have a hard time changing dolls into different outfits.
Raya was made an official Disney princess when they made that song with Brandy. I forget what the celebration was called. Something like princess celebration week or something like that
Yay, these are awesome for little ones. I'm glad they make lines a little more accessible to younger kids and kids who's parents are on a tighter budget. My dolls were the cheaper ones so I'm glad to see kids of today get to play with real princess dolls. I would often have the generic princess Barbie dolls rather.
I'm so excited for what other Disney Princess dolls Mattel will make! The budget looks great, so I'm really looking forward to the non-budget lines the most!!
Got the Aurora and Ariel a while ago. Aurora has terrible box hair, which is actually really common in all the Aurora's I have, but she's really pretty after a good wash.
Personally not a fan of the plastic top or design HOWEVER again Budget doll and for parents definitely pleasing I think. What I am a fan of is the faces and basically everything on the head. I think those are some good budget dolls and definitely have enough going on and I can’t wait to see more. Btw thanks for your effort in making this video!
THANK YOU for saying that! As a kid my mom would only buy me dolls that had a sculpted top so her clothes wouldn't go missing. And compared to the ones I had. Im happy that they put alot of work into the top, it doesn't look like a color island and has painted detail to it. For budget dolls they definitely pass the test.
Honestly, I don't really care about these dolls and don't really see what everyone loves so much about them (They're basically the same as the Hasbro dolls, when I compare them in store). I am interested to see what they'll put out in the future though (like the live-action Little Mermaid dolls look great!) but right now, the price is way too high when I can buy a Disney Store one for €2 more...
So glad they’re not using polypropylene hair on these girls. Both tianna and moana look Saran to me based on how fine the hair is and the sheen (if it has a slight tackiness to it, that’s your giveaway for Saran). The arm articulation is unforgivable to me, and I’ll never be on board with molded clothing that prohibits changing outfits for the dolls. Changing clothing is a huge part of playing with fashion dolls, especially for children. My daughter is 5 right now so she’s the target demographic and I’m the one buying the dolls. We 90% of my plan with her, her friends, cousins, etc is helping her change doll clothes. I can deal with molded clothing if it still allows clothing changes but this is a deal breaker for us even though I will admit the look is quite pretty on these with the details and translucent plastic. With the vibrant lip colors, my 5 year old is completely obsessed with “bright/dark” lipstick on her dolls, princess illustrations, etc, so it makes sense to me that they chose bold lip colors for the dolls even if it’s not movie accurate. These sculpts are a huge improvement over the ones Mattel was making right before they lost the license. I also love the details on their skirts as well as the fact the fabric doesn’t seem to make that horrible papery noise when you touch it. Edit: I spoke too soon. Polypropylene hair on the frozen dolls is an absolute no go. It’s impossible for an adult to maintain, let alone a child. It’s so frustrating that big name brands are using poly hair on dolls these days. Average consumers can’t tell so they end up buying dolls with poly hair then end up with kids having melt downs that the hair is immediately an awful mess, and even with UA-cam tutorials on fixing doll hair, are helpless since poly hair is often unsalvageable once it’s messed up. I don’t understand why it’s so hard for companies to grasp the wants and needs of young children and their parents. The only dolls I might consider purchasing for my daughter or as a gift for an actual child in this lineup are the Ariel set with the real dress and fabric tail, and the plastic tail Ariels, since those are generally for bath and pool play so molded clothing isn’t an issue. Is it really cheaper to make individual molds for the bodies than it is to just make a full dress version of the skirts? Heck, I’ll even take molded rubber or soft plastic bodices that can be changed. If they want to mold something on, give me molded shoes that don’t immediately get lost, triggering meltdowns. Young children are not difficult: they want clothes that can be changed, preferably with big puffy long dresses, even if they are simple in design and don’t have a lot of detail. They want long, soft, brushable hair that isn’t a nightmare to detangle. They want decent articulation - at the very minimum arms that can swing out so they aren’t always hiling Hitler, and heads that tilt. If there’s some sparkle and vibrant lips that’s a bonus for them, and the majority of young children that are into Disney princesses like pink and purple, so that always makes a good accent color. This isn’t rocket science. There is no need to over complicate things. Ok parent rant over (for now)
:D Haha! Funny-cool intro! Loved it! I like the face-molds and paint design. I wish they had fully cloth dresses and no pixels on the faces. So they were like "we are molding bodies for each one of them for the molded on tops, let's go all the way and do different heights". This is smart! I hope they do it for the ones that will be fully clothed. I don't think this is going to be all of it. All dolls molded on. I hope at least. Congrats on getting Disney/mattel PR, you deserve it!
There's a few deluxe sets (not dolls.. but sets...) with actual fabric clothing all over so I think they still kept the different height. Although it seems they still didn't have much budget to play with for these dolls I am very happy with the sculpts in particular- they cared a lot and invested time and resources into the sculpts and it REALLY shows which is why I'm so happy. It feels like the pre-Hasbro acquisition Mattel dolls often missed the mark in that era (and I mean IMMEDIATELY pre-mattel. the early 2010's and earlier ones are actually fantastic for the most part. Thanks so much- I was so in shock and disbelief when the email showed up in my inbox!!
My main issue is the arms not being able to move horizontally as a kid who grew up in a low budget household I only really had these type of budget Dolls and as a child I would always get frustrated that the doll's arm's couldn't move outward and my younger sisters who are kids today feel that way as well with the dolls they have who's arms can't move that way I'm not the biggest fan of the molded on tops either but if the arm articulation was better I feel like I wouldn't mind it as much over all I think their cute for 5 doll hairs but I wouldn't buy them for the full 10
Me and my sister are 80s kids so we have the original Disney dolls when the movies first came out. The original Ariel doll was smaller then a Barbie. When the original Belle doll came out she was bigger then the Ariel doll, but Belle is the same size as Barbie. So I think making the new Ariel doll smaller is paying homage to the original doll.
Where I live these things cost 10.99 and Ive never seen them on sale. They are the same price as the Hasbro dolls but with even less quality. The ballet dolls are 5.99. I don't expect the delux dolls to be anything amazing. I expect something akin to the totally hair Barbie's and more stuff like that Rapunzel which I do not like. So as not to seem totally negative though, I love the new 3 inch Disney princess toys Mattel is making. The ones Jakk's Pacific and Hasbro made always seemed to mechanical to me so those are a nice change.
Did they give Anna and Elsa the same face mold as each other? All the other girls got such unique face sculpts but not the frozen dolls? Weird. Loved that little intro with you in the princess gown though :) that was fun
the hasbro basic elsas did also have the cape just sticking out of her back, but both the hasbro and new mattel elsas that sing let it go have it going around her shoulders/bust with some elastic so i've been curious about why it's just the singing ones that get that edited to add that the singing coronation anna was $24 when i got her so she is unfortunately over the $20 price point
hello, i would like to get these dolls, but everyone is complaining about their hair, do you recommend me it? are the hair really that bad? is there a way to be sure hair are not like that in the dolls im gonna buy?
Sorry this video is… about four hours late! New video will be posted tonight (3/28) as well!
I'm not interested in these dolls, but the beautiful princess look (seriously, you look so lovely in that dress) and magical teleportation spin get a like!
Thank you! I wanted to do something fun:) I can’t believe we pulled off the spin transition- I didn’t think it would look so “real” aha
I’m so happy that Mattel is making Disney dollars again
I just wish that Mattel gave them full fabric outfits, instead of moulded on bodices.
These are the budget line the non budget dolls will have full fabric dresses
The theory (at least I don’t think anyone has DIRECTLY confirmed it) is that Disney wants the cheap ones in stores so people will associate Disney Store with higher quality
@@TBCainewell even the Disney store dolls suck quality wise especially for Elsa and Anna
Fully agree
Elsa’s moulded on top is giving Jurassic Park dinosaur skin.

Thank you for reviewing these. Oh I love the princess gown too!
The opening sequence is awesome for this review of the new Disney princesses.
I’m so glad they included Moana in the Princess line up! These aren’t for me but they’re very cute!
Moana has been part of it since quite a long time (when Hasbro had the license as well)
Love Love your intro!! That dress is everything!! I need to design a Brook doll in that dress 😃 ❤️

Oh my goodness i'm obsessed with these! I hope they become available here!
The most accurate face molding of rapunzel so far! Looks so much like the movie character!
I’ve heard that for Elsa and Anna and the frozen line in general it’s in their contract they’re only aloud to have movie accurate dolls
So glad they’re not using polypropylene hair on these girls. Both tianna and moana look Saran to me based on how fine the hair is and the sheen (if it has a slight tackiness to it, that’s your giveaway for Saran).

37 seconds into the video: "I wish i had you`re Confidence. p.s. i am so happy with you`re last (and hoping for more) videos being about winx.
Bell is 1 of my favorite princesses and they like made it good the dolls pretty
I’m not going to say much on these because 😬 but I hope that Mattel can use the Disney money to make other doll lines like MH better
Ariel basic doll has poly hair but her more deluxe mermaid doll with the pink dresss ig has Saran
I love this video I love how you did it I love you Soo much you are amazing hopefully you have a goodnight or day I missed Disney princess dolls
I believe the design on Cinderella’s skirt is her mice!
In the cart 😂🤭

oh ive been seeing some of these in store but i didnt realize they were the new mattel ones! how cool is that
Oh my gosh! How cute are you 😊
The tops remind me of the dolls from Barbie princess school.
heyy brooke js wanted to lyk that there are versions of frozen 2 anna with saran hair and singing elsa’s with saran hair and not poly! :) 🩵🩷

Actually in the movie Cinderella has hearts on her shoes ❤️
Recently my aunt and my grandma gave me a Elsa 🩵❄️ Doll and i so happy because in the next thursday is my birthday 12/09
Hey Queen Can you do a updated monster high collection/merch tour!
I heard somewhere that Cinderella is supposed to be around 5'6" tall. And ariel is supposed to be short
The anna dolls does not have the white streak anymore since they wanna advertise her in end of the movie
Came running here after I saw the tiktok of this!
I saw the price from the store you were in. They are not that price here where I live they’re around 12 dollars here. 😮
Thats cool, but I wanna know where you bought this dress! Looks beautiful on you!
I love that you shamelessly gatekeep dolls it's very funny to me
And smart
I only do it with my wishlist bahaha. Anything else I’ll share
Moana’s top is translucent but it’s hard to see it but it is transparent
Hi I love your videos
Nice review. Not a fan of painted in tops which is unfortunate because the dolls are so pretty.
😍💛🧡🎈🔥😍🤗
Ariel’s hair is polypropylene :/
I think it’s supposed to be Seaweed
You're more beautiful than any of these dolls :) great dress!
I am curious to see them without the skirts nyo!
oh my god frozen turns 10 this year…
The way they literally used a Frozen fever Rendering on Elsa for the art ☠️
Ariel wears red lipstick in the movie
Elsa unfortunately has poly hair and I can officially say that.
😝
I have Raya 2023 one
When are you going thrift
Mulan Doll.
My ariel doll hair is really trash..
Yep and they look as bad as hasbro, the only good thing are the faces.
Raya has been confirmed to be a Disney princess awhile ago, so yeah technically she's in the official line up
