You mentioned your work in glass mosaics. I’d love it if you ever would do a show and tell with these and your oil paintings. Maybe just one more tutorial on an involved glass mosaic? That was fun to watch! I am new to your channel, and I love the way you didn’t have a plan and just winged it! I was yelling, “no-not that way!” Or “yes-that looks great!” It made me lol!! And the end result...AMAZING!! I can’t wait to try this myself! You have inspired me!!! Thank you!!! PS. Your voice is very calming, too!
I found your videos just a few days ago, and I love them. Your down-to-earth approach is refreshing, and I'm learning a lot, so thank you! Hi Katie I love you work, as I’m new to polymer clay I find you video very helpful thank you so much for taking the time in making the videos please keep going love from the UK 🇬🇧
KArtie, please don’t let people’s negative comments hurt your feelings. Just consider the source. They are not intentionally being mean. They are just ignorant and overrating their importance, they have low self esteem, and they want you to know how good they are to boost their self importance. Others intend to help you by letting you know their opinions. Everyone has the option to fast forward if they want. The flip side, negative comments are really essential for business if people are really discontent. Rather than wonder where your customers went, someone will let you know and give you the opportunity to correct a problem. I like your videos, but sometimes I don’t have the time, do I speed through. I find that going with you through your thought process, you save me time and money. And when someone interests me, I enjoying getting to know you and your dogs.

I like your videos and your projects. You make beautiful pieces. I don’t like everything I see, but I appreciate the workmanship and artistic composition. Just because something may not be my taste doesn’t mean I should post a negative comment. I don’t think my opinion is so important that I need to say so, but some do, as they have an overwhelming sense of self worth. Don’t let it hurt your feelings, just consider the source, an inconsiderate self-loathing buffoon. I see art and beauty in everything one way or another. As an artist myself, I can see something beautiful in anything ugly. I am a photographer and do water color.

No question...the bronze is the perfect color bail....just my opinion. They turned out beautifully! Like you, I have a bunch of tools from prior work...mine was jewelry. What I would use on those drilled holes to smooth them faster is ball burs. You can get them in every size you’d need.
I have ballbburs and did try it but if they get caught in the hole in the clay they gouge it so I thought this way would be safer for the whole I actually tried that though lol
@@katiegordon610 Good to know then. I have bazillions of tools left from my jewelry making days and I haven’t tried the ball burs on clay yet. Hi katei ,thanks for sharing your lovely work with us 🌹❤, what the diffrent between liquid sculpy and fimo glaze ?and if l haven't uv resin what I can put else? Thanks
So I dont use fimo glaze but I think it soulds like a finish like sculpy has a varnish in matte and glossy that's what the fimo glaze sounds like they make fimo gel that's like bake and bond for fimo brand UA-cam tube exactly what u are looking for ie liquid sculpy bake and bond fimo gel fimo glaze people have done videos on these so check those out
Nice Girl good job which clay is ur fav tht air drys? Have u ever used super sculpty I think it's called alot of artist that sculpt babies I think..not positive use super sculpt soft polymer clay. Anyway which clay do u use love the jewelry
Cuz I dont wanna deal w it or with it wearing off in the future but u can always do it just because I do not does not mean u can't. Also what would u choose for a color brown nail polish which I dont think I have or turquoise what color to match better would u go w?
Please don't apologise for sniffles, sweetie you need to remember people complain about others when they see or hear something that bothers them so they lash out when there own fears are raised, so in short it's there issue not yours!
Katie love the colors love ur tutorial, I did purchase the buffing things for my dremel and I love them I notice a huge difference. What is " puking" ? I'm sorry I dont mean to bug you I just dont know what that is
They were like those little indentations that I didn't get fully buffed up that I showed before I resined pucks or divots in the clay i showed after I buffed them not sure if the resin would hide it but it did. I'm glad to know u like the wheels too

When you were talking about your dog, you could have been talking about my Jax, a golden retreiver/pitbull I had to put down almost a year ago 😭, who would always whine when he wanted/needed something. Especially attention, or if his ‘brother’ was even looking in the general direction of his food! 🤣🤣
Oooh makes me sad my boys r still young will be 5 and 4 soon but just thinking of life w out them and their own individual traits will be sadly missed people who dont have pets will never understand xoxo
Katie Gordon 100%! Love and cherish them, and take lots of pictures and videos!! They certainly don’t last as long as we’d like them too! Seems like yesterday my boys were 5 & 3, and now my younger one is almost 13, and we both miss his brother everyday! Xo
Fimo bakes at 235. Cernit bakes at 235. Primo bakes at 275. Even with a foil lid, I don't have good results baking Fimo at 275. How do you bake the two clays with different baking temperatures without burning. What is your secret for baking Fimo with Primo?
I bake everything at 275 I have an in oven thermometer so I know its exactly at 275 cuz sometimes your dial says that but the oven is actually hotter inside. I don't cover w foil in my mind it conducts heat so it may increase the temp under the foil I use just plain paper laid on top and a ceramic tile underneath middle of my oven. But do a few small test bakes to be sure I have tested mine so I know it's fine
I have two oven thermometers, neither of which reads the same, so I average. I, too, love Cindy Leitz - Polymer Clay tutor. I purchased a significant amount of Cernit clay based on her tutorials. I'm still waiting on that "good" project to break them out.

Katie, I don't go on facebook anymore because of all the animal abuse that seems to be everywhere on there but I do have messenger. Can I please have your e-mail so I can message you privately? I prefer not to have people.persinally email me. Or even fb message me if they want to contact me o ask to do it here or on fb just because I need my email for job related and personal things and if I have 400 comments and questions a day like on here from 7k subscribers and 3k on fb it would be very difficult for me to see what is clay related and what is something from my boss coworkers Bill's and other things. Just trying to keep my persoal personal and this this I do not even personally accept the fb clay people on my group as my personal friends because then I miss posts and stuff from people I know in person like family

Very pretty, thank you
Hi katei ,thanks for sharing your lovely work with us 🌹❤, what the diffrent between liquid sculpy and fimo glaze ?and if l haven't uv resin what I can put else? Thanks
So I dont use fimo glaze but I think it soulds like a finish like sculpy has a varnish in matte and glossy that's what the fimo glaze sounds like they make fimo gel that's like bake and bond for fimo brand UA-cam tube exactly what u are looking for ie liquid sculpy bake and bond fimo gel fimo glaze people have done videos on these so check those out
I learn a lot listening to you do this. Don't listen to these Donny Downers lol.
Nice Girl good job which clay is ur fav tht air drys? Have u ever used super sculpty I think it's called alot of artist that sculpt babies I think..not positive use super sculpt soft polymer clay. Anyway which clay do u use love the jewelry
I do not use air dry clay so could not give u a recommendation this is polymer clay which only sets when baked I use premo Kato fimo cernit
I like your nails!
Nádherné , krásná práce.
For your findings, why don't you use fingernail polish to match closer to your finished piece?
Cuz I dont wanna deal w it or with it wearing off in the future but u can always do it just because I do not does not mean u can't. Also what would u choose for a color brown nail polish which I dont think I have or turquoise what color to match better would u go w?
Katie did you bake and then resin?
Always not all resin w bake well some turn super yellow
Love your video's - ignore the jerks!!
I'm glad to know u like the wheels too
@@katiegordon610 oh ok lol sorry to bug you. I love all the things you do and your tutorials, I watch your tutorials while I'm claying like you are in my craft room and we are claying together so dont change it , talk about anything you want
So are you using an electric pasta machine and is it worth it?
It's a motor u add on to your pasta machine it is handy esp when getting those long thin strips but mine was a gift before that I had not bought one for myself
wow
Please don't let anyone's negative comments get to you. Just think, I'm so glad I'm not you❣️ (the neg commentor) 'They must be unhappy people, period' . Many thanks for all of your sharing ❤️.
Xo
(Love the pendants too!! Can you tell my ‘kids’ are #1?! 🤣)
Katie I agree don’t understand why people are nasty! Here’s to those that wish me well and those that don’t can go to hell! I like your videos. Katie your sinuses are clogged ha ha 🤓🇨🇦
Ab fab!
Hi Katie, I love you and your wonderful tutorials! I have been learning so so much from you. I have only been doing clay for a few months you make me feel like I can do anything! You make my day..... Susie from suziesobsession on Etsy
Katie, I don't go on facebook anymore because of all the animal abuse that seems to be everywhere on there but I do have messenger. Can I please have your e-mail so I can message you privately? I would appreciate it very much. Thank you for sharing your videos and life. I have 4 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren but live alone with my 11 year old cat Smudge and Miss Ellie ( both calicos).
