    I gotta say I have been a SW shopper for a number of years, but have never really noticed how much of a class act Mr. Gallagher is until I subscribed and started watching their online content. His genuine enthusiasm is plain to see- of course he's ultimately a salesman, of course he is, and he's well-versed in the features/benefits and specs of everything- but you can't fake the kind of enthusiasm and excitement he exudes, whether it's for a new Mackie mixer or a new amp from Mesa/Boogie or Friedman, or a $100 Akai MIDI pad controller lol...

      Mitch is a class-act. I’ve always enjoyed his stuff here on SW. While yes he is definitely a salesman, he knows his stuff. Ultimately he’s also a musician. That’s what a lot of places lack. I used to work at one of the other bigger stores, I won’t drop names but let’s call it, Sitar Sweater. I remember we were opening a new store and when it came to training the newbies, the store manager said, with confidence, you don’t need to be a musician to sell anything in here, including guitars. I immediately told them to keep whatever rocks they were smoking away from me. I won’t even go into how that location is currently doing haha. All Hail Sweetwater 🙌

      @synthnerd4539 Рік тому

      @@cryptonios Absolutely. I've been using my R16 for about 12 years and aside from regular wear and tear the biggest issue is it being Firewire - if A&H made a new model with swappable digital card but the same feature set otherwise, I'd be all over it. Nothing else in its price bracket these days matched the workflow. Mackie's own 1640i from the same period was about the only alternative. Shame they don't have that flexibility now, I really don't know why nobody has carried that through.
