From a technical perspective, this is forming a BULLISH CONTINUATION pattern on the weekly since Oct.23 last year. It tested the upper resistence trend line first time in the week of Dec. 23. Then we headed down to test the support trend line in the week of Jan. It then retested the upper resistence in the week of Feb.24 with a fake breakout. After that, it headed down to retest again that support line last week with a bullish hammer weekly pattern. We now are heading up to retest the same upper resistence line in the week of May 20. The current trend we are in is the FIFTH and the final stage pending the breakout of the upper resistence line. Bought all the way down after market from $445 to $400. I originally had the stock at $90 during the Metaverse craze (bought it from $220 all the way down to $90 and let it go, huge mistake). Not going to do that again so I just loaded up after hours. Yes, it might go lower, but so what, at least I didn't buy it back at $510 or whatever it was at recently.
same story here. i bought meta and nvidia when they where low. they went lower for a long time. i sold at break even. they of course went up. I also own intel, intel eventually went up. then i thought 'lesson learned' then intel went down again. Warren Buffett sais you own stock like you own a house. Don't sell it because the price is lower but because price is way overpriced. Something like this anyway. This is what i try to do. Just keep the stock if the story doesn't change too much.

Hi Daniel, could it be possible that the Meta board has underestimated the market? Other stocks go to the moon when the board will invest more money into AI? Maybe Meta had expected positive reactions from the market that they are going to invest more into AI. I think they are testing the market to see how much investing into AI they will accept. Next quarters they are seeking a balance between keeping shareholders satisfied (no more sell offs > 13%) and investments in AI.
Meta is profitable thanks to its advertising revenue from its Family of Apps while Reality Labs division is a money drain on Meta. Only time will show if Meta’s investment in Reality Labs pays off.

Great video Daniel, you're probably the only guy out there that takes the time to do a very detailed analysis after earnings. It seems to me that most people don't look at the moving averages anymore. When Meta went through the 100 day EMA at $444.93, it became apparent that it's next bounce if any, could be at the 200 day EMA at $386.67. In fact it looks like there was a big dump at 6:11 Central of 839,000 shares and it touched $399.02. I don't blame you for not buying here. The futures certainly do not look good.
Great video, but Meta at 9x FCF likely won’t happen again for a long time. Great earnings and may have to increase my position at 22x FCF. Stock market hates uncertainty and the cap ex increase and non-guidance for next year should be interesting how the market treats this..I expect them to keep executing and the stock will rally back up though after future earnings. Worried google will give that same Cap ex spend question mark tomorrow and may be punished for it, but hoping I am wrong..

In terms of diluted shares outstanding in the Free Form tool, the last figure for Visa is actually from the September quarter. Thanks!
