  • Allpowers asked me to test the AllPowers S2000. We ran it through a vicious cycle. It held up to everything we could throw at it.

    Toni, the solar panels deliver power, amps, at a certain voltage. It doesn’t matter how many watts the solar panels can deliver; over the number of Watts the generator can accept. The generator will only draw as much current at the voltage that it can accept. You could have 10,000 watts of solar available and the generator would only pull current at the voltage that it can accept. In that scenario, you only have to be concerned with the voltage. Power = Voltage X Current. I hope that makes sense! Great video. Thanks!

      It makes sense to me and I understand. It is harder to say everything correct on camera.

      @@TonysTractorAdventure I love your videos! I’m just an old geek that knows about this stuff like you know about tractor stuff! Keep them coming. I seriously wish we lived closer together. I’d love to work on some of your electronic projects. I live in South GA and it’s a bit of a drive to TN!

      Seen so many people just talk about them and call it a review. I wanted to put a load on it and charge it at the same time.

      Sorry to hear that. We have extreme heat warnings here with possible thunderstorms this afternoon. I have my solar system at the farm fully charged. I have my solar generators fully charged at the house. I could get by a couple days.

    That dirty and grimy solar generator looks like a work tool instead of photo prop!

      They asked me to test it. I don't bother showing them if they can't make it in the real world. This one has done good. The ones you don't see did bad.

    I have a question you can ask them, like your cell phone if you charge it repeatedly without letting it get down to 20% - 30% will it develop a false memory and damage the unit?

      @TonysTractorAdventure  Рік тому

      Newer batteries don't hold memory like older ones. Even your phone doesn't hold a memory in the battery. That is something that keeps being passed down. I have tested several of these and never had a battery problem.

    Me and mine are beginning to find the benefits of having small independent solar charging stations scattered around the property.
    These type of generators are still a bit out of our budget, but we'll be saving to incorporate them in. Ima' hoping (and planning) to one day be energy independent and
    having portable solar is the first steps towards that independence.
    Thank y'all for sharing YOUR experiences and tribulations on your solar adventure

      We are on the same path. In a prior video, we built a test solar system. It currently is running my travel trailer and a small AC in our utility building.
