    Sir, Thanks for the great video. what number will it change from 1.96 If i need CL as 99% instead of 95%?

    Hello Sir, What exactly you mean by " As standard deviation increases large sample size is needed to get reliable result" . Can you share an example where in Std deviation is increasing

    • @mohitsharma34
      @mohitsharma34  3 роки тому

      When standard deviation increases means variation is increasing in the process. So correctly interpreting the population with smaller sample size is not possible.

      @@mohitsharma34 let's say the entire population is 1000000. So in this case do we need to take 30 data points from 1000000. And how to check increasing variation in this case.

    Can we use this formula to draw sample from discrete data

      There’s a different formula for discrete. You can also use google sample size calculator.

    Hi Mr. Mohit, one question, is abandoned calls in contact center can be considered as discrete data?

    Hi Sir, in a BPO industry mostly the transaction monitor is happening where there are set of quality parameters and each parameter is assigned with weightage (2/5/8...) and we need to select Yes/No for each parameter and we get the score.
    For such kind of transaction monitor, is your formula is applicable for calculating sample size. If not, what formula is applicable?
    Thanks in advance

    • @mohitsharma34
      @mohitsharma34  4 роки тому

      You can divide your transactions in different subgroups and take 30 samples per sub group.

    At 4:13, the calculation of Sample Size is incorrectly shown as 32 for 95% Confidence Level, Margin Error of 2 and Std Dev of 8. Per formula, it should be 61.46 or 62.

    • @mohitsharma34
      @mohitsharma34  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks for watching it so closely but if it is more than 61 then you will take 62 only. Isn’t it?
