You're aboslutely right bro, I change oil every 10 000kms on my cars, the ford focus now has 460 000kms without issues except clutch change and knock sensor. The bmw E90 325 has also been trouble free at 145 000 kms, owned it for 5 years now, I use BMW 5w30 oil on both cars and bmw engine internals are looking spanking brand new inside, saw this when I was replacing valve cover gasket. OIL changes are key to happy driving and savings on costly repairs.
