I recently took my travel trailer out for its maiden voyage. During our return trip, I unknowingly dragged my 7 pin cable. I’ve been beating myself up even though my salesman assured me this is not an isolated incident. I’m going to order those twist ties. Thanks a lot.
I’m on the hunt for a Tab320 and I never comment on UA-cam videos, I just watch lol, but yours deserves an applause because this video was informative and wonderful, with a beautifully styled camper. Loved it!
Regarding TPMS: I have a set of 4. One on each tire, one on the spare, and one on my vehicle's spare. The vehicle has TPMS for the active tires, but it's handy to help keep an eye on the pressure in the spare tires, too, so they are ready when needed.
I just bought a used 2021 Tab 320 Boondock, so I was very happy to find this video and your channel! Previous owners took out the microwave and put in a cabinet door with a corkboard, and removed the TV and put in an Ikea pegboard. I will remove the corkboard and replace it with a whiteboard -- push pins fall and end up in feet and paws. They also doubled the propane and put in two lithium batteries. 😃
I love these! Easily towable with our smaller cars over here...would sell well here. It's got what you need with a good designed interior for the minimum of what you really need...could live in there easily at a low cost. 10/10
There has clearly been some considerable thought applied to you choice of things to incorporate into your TAB. Your tile panels around the sink area and extending around the living area were absolutely gorgeous and a significant improvement against unintended water ingress, whilst looking really good. Excellent choice to buy the off road wheel and tyre - before - you need it urgently, invariably whilst in the middle of nowhere! Your aluminium storage boxes were exceptionally good, and look fantastic, whilst adding practicality. I would definitely consider the purchase and concealed installation of a good quality vehicle tracking device! The horrible truth is that experienced and professional thieves would have absolutely no problems in stealing highly desirable campers like the TAB, and whilst it may be impossible to fully protect against them being stolen, a well concealed vehicle tracking device virtually ensures that the owner will get it back. Your cupboard slide out racks were excellent, and makes accessing things very much easier. Thank you fir sharing your excellent ideas.

Excellent mods and tips! I'm just looking at possibly getting a TAB 320 or maaaaaybe the new 360 that's coming out. I have a bigger Geo Pro now, space is nice but can't comfortably tow it. Been curious how to maximize my space in something like the 320. Thank you!
We have a 2019 T@B 320 Boondock that we've pulled enough to ware out a set of tires. Improper weight distribution is the reason for trailer sway. I've pulled our trailer in 50mph cross-wind with no problems. However, putting 4 gal of gas and 3 gal of water on the rear rack caused severe sway after crossing a dip in pavement on I-5🤐. I would not place any thing else on your rack with the spare tire there. We also lifted the back of our TV 1 inch higher ( Old Man Emu ) which improved the ride and allows the TV and trailer to both set level going down the road or trail.
great information, we actually never had an issue with swaying, we have another video on bucking at very slow speeds and finally resolved that with a new brake controller. we always kept the original spare under the Tab towards the front and I think that helped with proper distribution and rarely do we tow with tanks full, always places to get water as we need it and are closer to destination as your right, water is heavy
@@debradenton9626 I'm fortunate to have a 2019 ,which had the spare mounted just behind the Jack-e-up. However, they did mount the spare on the rear rack before that. In an effort to simplify production, later Boondock models are much more like the standard S model. If you do experience sway, simply lift your foot from the accelerator (DO NOT TOUCH THE BRAKES), Comely counter-steer. As the speed dissipates, the trailer will right itself and pull normal. The scare tactics to sell expensive and heavy devices often feature a driver who over-corrected , or applied the brakes to produce misfortune
This one might be available......I can check, located currently in Eugene, Oregon. Tab is a good quality product and does cost more than others because of this. So those that own a Tab generally take care of it. Key is storage - where they kept it, weather in that area, how often they used it, maintenance done on it, etc. My thoughts:) If you are interested in this one, let me know.
THANK YOU for this amazing video. We are brand new T@b owners, planning our first trip, and are looking for ways to personalize it and maximize its potential. We love the flower over-the-door hooks but don’t see a link for it. Do you have one you could share?

Nice mods! Thx for sharing, including the links. I lucked out when I purchased my T@B 320S Boondock. The dealer provided a complimentary sway bar when installing my hitch. I love having this extra safety feature when towing at highway speeds. I just have to remember to remove it when backing into a campsite. 🙂 PS. I'll be checking out your other videos too. I do have a problem with hot water . . .
Great! I do have a hot water one… it took more than just turning dial under bench but figured it out after 3 days of luke warm water. I am a sway bar believer, many dont on this size but it definitely h helps on highways with the big rigs 😀
I don’t but if your referring to the towel holder by sink, it is actually a cabinet handle, you can get 8 or 12 inch I believe, look up cabinet handles :)
Great video, thanks for posting. As potential new buyer it’s really nice to see how others have customized there T@Bs. I especially like the backsplash you put in as the great storage ideas. To access the rear cabinets, do you have to removed the soft sided bins? In the first part of your video I see you’re using JK 2 door and then a 4 door (couldn’t tell if is a JKU or JLU). The 2 door Jeeps are only rated to tow 2000lbs and that’s just the dry weight of the T@B. It might be the angle from which the video was being filmed but when the T@B was connected to the 4 door, it appeared to have quite some squat in the rear axle. Have you considered a weight distribution hitch or air bags to help level out the rig? Lastly, sorry to nitpick but the table is a Lagun table not Laguna (no A at the end) and the water system is Nautilus not nautical.
Thanks for your reply. Our 2 Door Jeep is the anniversary edition, steel bronze bumpers and tons of upgrades, it includes a 3.72 axel ratio and can tow 3500 lbs. You’re right many only pull 2000 but this is rated 3500. Not sure what you are referring to on the bins on rear cabinets….Details are important, thanks :)
I noticed that you set up your trailer as two bunks. Curious how you did that with the 2021 model, which we have, and where the other pillows are located. Do you have another video that demonstrates that set up. It would be much easier with our pet and getting to the washroom at night. Great videos. Learn something with everyone.
