Same reasons our family started homesteading years ago. It's hard sometimes to explain to people why we do what we do and why we have raised our children a certain way. It's all God's way and we feel as Christians we should be taking care of the earth as the gift it is. Thank you for this new and enriching podcast. Blessings

The Lord showed me in 2005 what was going to happen to those who stay in the cuty. He guided my hubby & I to the property we have now - 20 acres in the mountains that we have labored into a homestead. We dedicated it to Him. We knew it was provided to us so that others who needed shelter, etc, would come. We've already had requests, but it's not time yet. Soon, though. Very excited about your channel.

I get that a lot as well. Whereas my husband could lay on you the worst possible news or heaviest hardest to hear truth, and people thank him and smile. Made him an excellent police chaplain. Something about his eyes and delivery. One day I will figure it out.

I’m starting out and feel overwhelmed. Moved to an area outside our city on just two acres to get started. Getting my fence up then my chicken and goats.

Praise God for His Holy Spirit‼️ I think the lady on your couch was trying to impart something else, not from the Lord. My word, I resonate with everything you've said, and yes, I have noticed some other content providers in the community who have been so blatantly obvious, and I unsubscribed. i countered their info, also - sometimes while they were live, and other times in the comments in hopes of making others question.
I have also criticized myself for not being discerning, but I have been too gracious as well. 🤔 I’m definitely learning better how to call people out and not make excuses for them. I have actually been praying more specifically for God to show me the steps to take rather than fret about what I should do.
Also, totally relate to the idea that not everyone is in my close circle.

Seeing things in black and white is a gift..prophetic...I hv it...I believe the homesteading community is to provide for those who will be saved during the tribulation and need food and shelter...and ..you...will be raptured..leaving behind the legacy provision of the homesteading community

This is so on point.... grace and discernment. I ignored that discernment so much and now our family is suffering from it. I learned my lesson, but with consequences that are very real. 😢

I declined the smart meter for an extra $15 a month. What a crock right? And if I want to go solar I have to get a smart meter. And in NJ you can’t just unplug and go off grid solar. It’s against the law.
Our price per month is 100 dollars to not have a smart meter. We simply can't afford that.
