Since you opened the proverbial “can of worms” on the VMA performances it’s only fitting you check out their second performance which is a little ditty called Evolve. Fair “warning”, you better strap into your chairs because this song is closer to Choke than More if Choke was on steroids. Presently there’s this little show that took place in August of 2022 in the Teatro Metropolitan (Metropolitan Theatre) in Mexico City (CDMX) which is available on TW’s UA-cam channel in single song or complete concert format that is considered the Gold Standard of TW live performances. Wouldn’t be a bad source of possible future TW reactions. Once again, you have been “warned” that repeated exposure to the contents of this show may result in risk of falling into a TW rabbit hole that is all but impossible to escape. TW recently completed a series of three high production shows in their homeland of Mexico that will likely be combined in a master show that will likely supersede the Teatro Met shows at some point in 2024 in conjunction with a new album release as well so many exciting things to look forwards to concerning TW.
Daniela (Dany) is lead guitarist and vocalist. Paulina (Pau), is drummer and second vocalist. Alejandra ( Ale), is bass player and backup vocalist. Each one of them also plays piano and keyboards. Pau is the biggest songwriter but they all contribute and collaborate. For next reactions, in addition to Evolve at the VMA awards, I would recommend Dany's When I'm Alone. She wrote this when she was 15 at the Berkeley School of Music in Boston. She was extremely homesick and depressed and had an assignment to write a song. This is the result and it was on their first album! I would recommend the version at Teatro metropolitan 2022.
