Thank you for sharing your watercolor painting process. I was watching carefully and encouraged as a result. This winter scene is lovely. I could look at it all day...almost imagine myself there. 😊❤
I have to say that you genuinely Inspire me to paint more. I painted at school some 40 years ago and have rediscovered the joy. Hats off R To you, and l the other artists, both established and aspiring
Lovely sketch and painting. So happy to see the yellow light in the upstairs window. I didn't want to see an abandoned house. I'm rooting for life always!

I really admire the simple palette colour choice. I often watch reviews of different watercolour brand paints on youtube, but it is easy to be carried away as a beginner and buy too many, which eventually can cause confusion. You don't need that many colours, just wise choices. Thank you for sharing your expertise, it's lovely to watch you paint.
I’m new to watercolor. I SO enjoy watching you draw. I decided to attempt this particular drawing, trying to use your techniques! Your videos have lit a fire in me and I can’t wait to do more! Thank you for sharing and inspiring us all!
Zjust love the line and wash technique, it is so satisfying to watch. The music is a beautiful accompaniment . All together an experience which soothes my soul time and again.
Simply amazing !! I love your line n wash watercolour technic ,it always give me inspiration to draw n paint and I really enjoyed while doing the same.Thank you so much peter.
Takes your breath away.... you do such beautiful work! So inspiring... you are an amazing artist!! Thank you so much for sharing your talent and the music is so beautiful!!
I wouldn't have thought to use the fountain pen upside down for skinnier lines. You make it look flawless. And thank you for identifying your hues & that you place them next to the hues you most often mix them with; all great & practical tips. Love your choice of relaxing music, Yeah !
Peter once again so beautiful and you are very gifted artist 🎨 and always amazed how you use your imagination and skills with us and thank you for sharing Peter also god bless you always.
Always so relaxing and informative. Thank you for sharing your amazing gift. (and my FAVE painting of yours is the clothesline and brisk winds above!) Thank you Mr. Sheeler. :)
Beautiful light and a lot of atmosphere for such a small painting. Well done, and definitely within my reach. I will try it tomorrow even though it is 78 here in Georgia! :)
I really enjoy your work..i hopecitvok but am teaching myself watercolor and your videos are perfect for that..i will only be using them for that though..thank you
I am amazed! I could never draw anything from imagination! I always need a reference photo lol. Just wonderful Peter!! Always enjoy watching you create! :) And the music is lovely too!
A magnificent meticulous work. I enjoyed every bit of it. There is much of passion in it. The scene is quite serene and sedating. Loved the way you did the last touches with the fountain pen to add some crispiness to certain edges. Please do keep drawing from your imagination. It is apparently magical. Thank you!
Hi Michael. Lamy pen with Platinum Carbon black ink. Please read the video write-up section. Click on "show more" below the video screen. This information plus much more is available there.
Thank you. I like those myself. I was recently recommended the Pitt artist pen. It seemed a bit too...consistent at first - couldn't vary the line at all, but it's improved over time.
Que tipo de plumas de tinta chino usas pues me gustaria hacerme con alguna Si es posible en español la respuesta si no ya vuscare quien me traduzca gracias
Just a question (not a criticism because I love watching your videos) - why are there strong shadows under the eaves and windowsills when this is a night sky? Or is this early dusk?
Bonjour Peter Merci pour cette démonstration. Superbe! Est-ce un papier de 300gr que vous utilisez? Le mouillage du papier est-il fait uniquement à l'eau?
It is difficult to find good royalty free music to use on videos. In the past I have used many different artists. The problem is that many people use these artists as well and then upload their compilations to sites like CD baby. I end up with an unfounded copy-write claim. I file a dispute and always win, but the process is aggravating. I actually get many compliments on the music, but will never be able to please all tastes. All I can suggest is you lower the volume.
With a few lines you tell such a beautiful story, my imagination goes into overdrive and I am overcome with joy.
Great comments Merx. Thank you very much
bravo..i enjoyed painting with your technique on this cold, wet, gray winter morning from deep east texas..
Your weekly videos are a breath of fresh air, Peter. Thanks for sharing my music. 😊

Love your work! I’d actually like to find the pen your working with but so far I have failed in my attempt to find it. Any suggestions appreciated.
How are you using waterproof ink in a fountain pen without plugging up the pen?
Me has enseñado para practicar el dibujo y la acuarela
Muchas gracias. Me alegra que lo haya encontrado útil. Peter :-)
Your paints are nicely granulated, what brand do you use?

Oh, thank you. I am not attentive.
May I ask, what is your favourite pen to draw with generally, or does it vary too much according to the situation?
Hi John. I think the felt tip Pigma Micron would be my favorite, but I'm very hard on the soft nibs.
Thank you. I like those myself. I was recently recommended the Pitt artist pen. It seemed a bit too...consistent at first - couldn't vary the line at all, but it's improved over time.

Just a question (not a criticism because I love watching your videos) - why are there strong shadows under the eaves and windowsills when this is a night sky? Or is this early dusk?
Artistic license ;)
Bonjour Peter
Merci pour cette démonstration. Superbe! Est-ce un papier de 300gr que vous utilisez?
Le mouillage du papier est-il fait uniquement à l'eau?
Merci beaucoup. Oui aux deux questions :)
You've listed your paper size at 5" x 7". Wondering if those dimensions are at the edge of the paper or at the border of the painted picture. Thanks!
Hi Alec. 5x7 is the size of the paper.
Thank you!
HOLA ,,AMIGO SE PUEDE CON ESTA TECNICA HACER ALGO DE GRAN FORMATO?? ME GUSTARIA Q LO HICIERA SI ES Q SE PUEDE
Hola Johnny. Intentaré hacer algo más grande en el futuro.
I know this question is sounds stupid but can you use acrylic to paint that look like a water color?
Yes you can. Keep it wet.
i draw it how can i show you
You can post it on my FB page
Bit confused about where the light is coming from
Quite beautiful!!! Came across this channel by accident! A happy accident!
Thank you very much. I'm glad you found me as well :)
It would awesome if you would chance the music you use, it make lose concentration.

8am
i follow you but you are yellow ocre sepia and ultramarine man......
Thanks Eugenio. LOL, I do use other colors, but don't want to add them here and cause people to buy even more paints.
have a good day happy bye
Sorry, want to say improve.
Thank you very much! I knew what you meant :)
Fantastic
Thank you very much. Always appreciated :)
