Glad to know you are still happy being with your company. Hopefully, this Boeing mess will be fixed so that you’ll will have more flights. Sitting around is so boring. Glad you finally got a trip. If you didn’t fly at all would you still make a decent paycheck? How do you like Denver? Did you choose that base or were you assigned that base out of training? Do you miss anything about your old airline? Is there a big difference in pay from your current and former airline? Blessings and safe travels.
Robin F Yes, I love my new company! When you don’t fly you don’t make per diem so to answer your question, no the paycheck isn’t decent unless you pick up trips or reserve blocks on your own. I discuss it a little in the video after the next one. Denver is cool. I don’t hang out much because I’m always on the go. You can choose your base priority in training, but the company is going to send you where they need you. There is a huge difference in pay, as long as I fly🙂
I appreciate your videos I just received my cjo in November and just waiting for a training date. Watching your videos have prepared me of what to expect. 👍🏽 I heard they delayed all training classes until March due to the 737 being grounded, do you know if that’s true?
n42ole Thank you so much! That’s the main purpose of my videos. Congratulations on your CJO! I don’t want this to come off as dismissive because I never want anyone to feel that way...I really can’t discuss this type of company information on a public forum. Make sure you monitor your email for updates from the company because they can give you the most accurate information.🙂
Ok do you know what days you have off for the month? So days they cannot call you at all? Do you know in advance? I understand days on reserve but just days off from them? If so, how many?
wlacroix10 You “bid” for your schedule about 2 weeks in advance for the next month. You have flexibility because you can give away trips and reserve blocks and you can “block” your trips together at my airline. Meaning you can work 6 days in a row with 1 day off and then do it again if you want. You work about 12 days a month depending on the month. You can pick up reserves blocks and trips.
E Lo Yes, it’s free. Just like if I were staying at the hotel it would be free. It’s a difference between a $5 - $6 ride vs. $12 - $22 depending on the time of day. Now, if the shuttle had a lot of people riding to where there weren’t any seats, I would not do this. I have not encountered that.
This is the second video I've seen with Mike, he is a character 🤣
Happy New Year Love!!! Miss you!!!!! Congratulations!!!!

So you take a shuttle to a hotel and from the hotel you take a Uber to go home? I’m confused is this shuttle from the airport to the hotel free?
E Lo Yes, it’s free. Just like if I were staying at the hotel it would be free. It’s a difference between a $5 - $6 ride vs. $12 - $22 depending on the time of day. Now, if the shuttle had a lot of people riding to where there weren’t any seats, I would not do this. I have not encountered that.
How do you know which hotel shuttles are free?
E Lo Hotels don’t usually charge. They will just tell you “No.”
You live in Denver now
Harmon Martin Yes and no. Watch all my videos, Harmon 🙂
