The Abbey is still there i believe its called Easby Abbey it is behind the old train station/cinema quite off the beaten path but worth a look if you ever go back
@@AWreckedIsleDysfunction8882 I assumed it was no longer there. I couldn't see it from the Great Tower, and I visited the old station as well. It gives me a reason to return, walk by the river, and give it a visit. Thanks for letting me know.

That's lovely & what beautiful views!
It was great to get to the top of the tower and see it all from up there. I plan to visit Richmond again, as there is an Abbey I want to visit.
