Thanks for checking this out and thanks Sal for requesting. Yes, it's from 2011. I know you've seen this info before but here is an updated version: Founded in 2011, Bridear are one of the second wave of all-female heavy-metal bands. They have undergone a few lineup changes, and have experimented with various styles, but they always come back to their foundation of hard-driving metal-inflected rock. They have the quintessential twin-lead attack and technical rhythm section. Here is the original lineup: Kimi-Vocals Haru-Bass, growls Misato (known as Misa)-Guitars, growls Mitsuru-Guitars (pink flying V) Kai-Drums In 2019, Kai left to start a family, Misa left to pursue her own musical vision, Mitsuru soon followed, and they had to bebuild. Amazingly, they did so without any loss in quality, finding Misaki and Ayumi on Guitar, and Natsumi, formerly of Telecide, to take over on drums (after a brief trial with another drummer). Second Lineup: Kimi-vocals Haru-bass, growls/metal vocals Misaki-Guitar, audience left Ayumi-Guitar, audience right Natsumi-Drums I saw them live in London just after this lineup came together, and they were explosive, playing mostly stuff from the original lineup. They have experimented with a variety of styles, dabbling in progressive and pop, but they still come back to their metal roots. In “Brave New World Revisited” (ua-cam.com/video/_6-OXcyMkYI/v-deo.html) they’ve got a masterpiece. It’s also a tour-de-force for their brilliant young guitarist Ayumi, who has also taken on a lot of the writing for the band. In early 2022, Misaki, who suffers from severe stage fright, left the band for health reasons, and they scrambled to find a new co-lead guitarist. They have been joined by Moe, and their first release with her on board showcases some great dual shredding between her and Ayumi. From the original lineup: “Thread of the Light” (live) ua-cam.com/video/enbjKqMOTe4/v-deo.html “Light in the Dark” ua-cam.com/video/CN3KDIBdosQ/v-deo.html “Ignite” ua-cam.com/video/LQIDqudG_DQ/v-deo.html Second Lineup: “Starlight” ua-cam.com/video/4lq90GqRxiE/v-deo.html “Bloody Bride” ua-cam.com/video/CN3KDIBdosQ/v-deo.html “Brave New World Revisited” ua-cam.com/video/_6-OXcyMkYI/v-deo.html Third Lineup: “Road” ua-cam.com/video/vcsUpWW0UZk/v-deo.html “Eyes of Doubt” ua-cam.com/video/_oNn9Wg-vNQ/v-deo.html (This was written by new member Moe.) “Still Burning” is a statement: ua-cam.com/video/v7UOTBAtJh0/v-deo.html They released their new album “Born Again” on June 28 and it’s a banger. BURRN is calling it a masterpiece. Metal Hammer compares them to Lovebites. They have posted two video singles from the album: “Still Burning” ua-cam.com/video/v7UOTBAtJh0/v-deo.html and “Cult” ua-cam.com/video/ohFf1pwwoz0/v-deo.html . They have also posted a live video of the title song from the album: ua-cam.com/video/H3Yrr7Ssk54/v-deo.html. Consider any one of these links you haven't done before as my next request. Thanks!
I saw the 2nd and 3rd lineup Glasgow 2021 and 2022. Both great concerts. MOE and Atumi have great chemistry on the lead guitars. Seeing them again in Glasgow April 2025. Kind of hoping Ayumi and MOE do a short Sukiyakt Sisters section
The two first-class first Bridear guitarists : Misato Ono + Madaseka Mitsuru Both now earn their money in solo careers with pop and anime music. A great loss for the heavy metal world.

I do like the new Bridear band but not as much as I do this one with Misa and Mitsuru on guitar
Good call here buddy.
Misa was right there with Saki as my favorite guitarist. Afraid Saki is going more mellow with all these damn pop covers.
