The Warning are three sisters from Monterey, Mexico; Daniela 24, Paulina 22 and Alejandra 19 Villareal Velez. They have a very raw and hard rock sound, as stated below. But that rawness fits their style very well. Check out their 2014 UA-cam cover of Metallica's "Enter Sandman", when the girls were14, 12 and 9. It's really something to see. You should also check out the live video of the bands doing this song in Japan last year, it's a real banger. This is not a usual collaboration, with both bands being together with all their instruments, but it works very well. And also as stated below, The Warning is a dish best served live.
Welcome to the fandom! Both bands are friends and big fans of each other. Was lucky enough to be at their joint concert in Tokyo where they live debuted this song. Me & GF flew 6,000 miles from oHio to Japan! We spent 10 days in Japan. We stayed 5 days in Kyoto & Tokyo each with day trips to Osaka & Himeji. Was an amazing concert & trip! Was an experience we both will cherish forever! Really hoping that they release an official live video of this from that concert too! I suggest these The Warning songs: Money, Sick, Automatic Sun, Enter Sandman (official video with Alessia Cara), Evolve (live VMAs) & Dust To Dust (live Teatro) BTW - there's a behind the scenes video of this song collab and concert on The Warning's utoob

Yes my friend. This is how the two bands sound live. This is what happened in Japan where all of The Warning's technical equipment was brought up on stage during Band Maid's performance. It was an unexpected and simply spectacular moment since they had incredible precision and fluidity. It was a shock to the public but, at the end, full of emotions as they sounded together like an atomic clock. They put the audience in flames in four minutes. Amazing... The Warning is spectacular live with a rock more raw than Band Maid. Pick any song from The Warning but do it live. The composition was done by by Band Maid and lyrics from Miku Kobato of Band Maid but with the inputs done by The Warning. Miku was very worried about how it sounds phonetically but with the help of The Warning members and a translator guy working for Band Maid, Miku fixed the lyrics. At the end of the process and visit to Japan, all the girls were excited and playing like kids and ended crying so then the love and respect is huge. We all know that are huge rumours of a visit from Band Maid to Mexico to record a new song done, this time, by The Warning. Maybe I am wrong but that was confirmed by The Warning in an interview. Both are the best rock bands in the world, imo, with Lovebites (another japanese band, metal, only females and wild in a live concert). I am talking about female, male or alien rock bands. Band Maid is more complex, in composition, than The Warning but technically are quite similar and you understand that The Warning could be equal than Band Maid with no effort if needed. All the girls are worldwide masters in their instruments and songs. All the eight.
@@TheLionsReaction Agree with you. They met for the first time in the United States at a festival and connected in person in an incredible way as could be seen in different shots. From that moment on there was a 'furious' but kind reaction from the fans asking them to collaborate... and that's how it happened. Now the same thing is happening, with the fans, asking for a mini tour of Mexico and the USA by them... and we will see as we already know that both bands listen to the fans very attentively. Imagine the emotional impact you can have with both bands on stage. For your information, the last concert of Band Maid in Yokohama lasted 3 hours and 45 minutes...banger after banger after banger and leaving the audience totally but 'happy' devastated. The Warning can do the same for sure... They can do, together, the concert of the century...and smiling
If you liked The Warning's collaboration with BAND-MAID on "Show Them," you should check out more of their work. The Warning is a rock band from Monterrey, Mexico, made up of three sisters: Dany (24, guitar/vocals), Pau (22, drums/vocals), and Ale (20, bass/vocals). They’ve been making music since they were kids and are known for their powerful live performances. A great place to start would be their 2023 10th anniversary concert at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City, beginning with the opening track, "Disciple." It’s a perfect introduction to their live energy. The collaboration between BAND-MAID and The Warning on "Show Them" began back in 2022 when the two bands met for the first time at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, California. The Warning was already familiar with BAND-MAID’s music, and the encounter sparked an immediate connection. In December 2023, Kanami, BAND-MAID’s guitarist, sent The Warning a rough demo for "Show Them," with the idea of creating a song that would bring out new aspects of both bands' sounds. Miku worked on the lyrics in collaboration with The Warning, blending ideas from both groups to shape the song’s message and feel. The creative process involved back-and-forth exchanges via Zoom and meetings to refine the track, which was already a unique experience for both bands. Things moved to another level when The Warning visited Japan in June 2024, where they worked together in person. This presented some challenges, including language and cultural differences, but also brought a new depth to the collaboration. Both bands worked to balance the original demo's structure with fresh ideas, incorporating elements that stayed true to their sounds while also pushing them into new creative spaces. The song was performed live in Tokyo with all eight members of BAND-MAID and The Warning on stage, an unforgettable moment that showcased the unity between the two bands. If you're interested in a deeper look into the collaboration, The Warning shared a behind-the-scenes vlog titled "Our First Time in Japan with Band-Maid," capturing their experience visiting Japan, collaborating with BAND-MAID on the song, rehearsing, and preparing for and performing the live show. It’s a great way to see how the song came together and the connection between the two bands.
The Warning is a world class live band. The concert from 2023 at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City is a show for the ages. Start with Disciple and go from there. If you use the whole concert for the individual song reactions, there will be handy english subtitles automatically displayed.
Pretty interesting that the future of rock music is female and foreign (to US and UK). Try The Warning's 'Evolve' from the 2023 MTV VMAs and 'Automatic Sun' from the 2024 EMAs. The Warning Army is large and international and we'll be here always, whatever you react to.
Hello, Band Maid, very nice.. THE WARNING.. I spend my money on The Warning. You may have a new favorite Band and you don't even know it.. 3 sisters from Mexico.. These 3 are brilliant. Exceptional Lyrics, brilliant writers, Stunning Live performers. The Drummer was FAN VOTED BEST ROCK DRUMMER OF THE YEAR 2023 AT THE DRUMEO AWARDS. Wait until you hear her drum and sing.
