those collages are very cool, but the "sea glass" with the faux copper edging is such a clever idea, they look like pieces getting ready for a stained glass project, only much much easier with the same effect, clever girl.

So I'm watching the video this Saturday morning with great interest when hubs keeps saying "Get dressed! We have to get going and get errands done!" What!!!! Does he just not "get it"? Now adding Pier One to my errands......you, my dear, are causing discord in my house. LOL

In germany its called "Schmutz Radierer" wordly translated dirt-eraser. But I think most ppl know magic eraser.
Awesome tutorial. I had a Jar full of seaglas I collected from the beach and had it sit on a shelf for 3 years. About a few month ago I put it at the bottom of a planter for drainage purposes😓. ... seems like I have to move the plant into another planter to get my seaglas back 😂

Ooh, it just so happens I have some real sea glass. From different beaches round our British coastlines, around the UK. They were kindly gifted from a few friends. They all know I love the stuff. Haha I'm also collecting bits of sea pottery. Pretty pieces that would also make great necklaces or charm bracelets I'm thinking.
I'm going to have to get some guilders wax. Or I'll use some copper foil which will cure the possible sharp edges. I don't remember my sea glass having sharp edges. Suppose it's been tumbled by the sea for a good long time...I'll have to find those pieces pdq. 😁
I love the thought of making jewelry out of this idea. Thanks for sharing Nik. 👌👍😊

Cool idea.....i went to Walmart and found some sea glass (we don't have Hobby Lobby, Michaels, or Pier One in my town). It was really crappy sea glass. Actually it was glass that was tinted with a wash of blue and turquoise paint of some kind. You couldn't see the images through the glass. Just some advice for those of you who want to try this!

I'm on my way to try to bid on a veryyy old bible and when I saw it, all I could think was "I could rip this up and us it for so much!" So many pages to rip...I can't wait! My husband said "your seriously going to rip a bible up?" Why yes! Yes I am. And now I have sea glass to think of gluing it to! Love this vid!! I"m also bidding on old victorian lace and thought "I could cut this into pieces and use it on this..and that...and that" Oh the lovely irreverence! So nice to live outside of the box :)
