Can you use something else other than a chopping board to make that first ring?
If you can make a mold you could use hot glue or cut and bend using a hairdryer / heat gun hot glue sticks could work

I did try making a smaller ring but didn't look right, maybe I can add some led lights behind. #loveyou3000
