I completely forgot I even watched this anime until I was blasted with nostalgia from SWR30. Came out of left field for me... but so happy it reminded me about this anime. Now I have to go and watch it again after all these years.

@@CantusTropus i mean there Is 3 reason to watch mecha show. You like the depiction of war and what it does to persons. You like the idea of giant robots blasting and fighting with swords in space. And finally mecha Is the genre with More deaths in anime. When you watch a mecha nobody Is safe. This last one has correlation to my first point being that mecha genre Is a sinónim for war stories
The characters in this anime were designed by Hisashi Hirai. He’s one of my favorite Japanese artist of all time. And he happened to be the most underrated artist of all time because his work wasn’t been well recognize.
I don't think he underrated, but rather his work hasn't been recognize due to the stigma that carries with Gundam Seed and Destiny. A lot of people were not fans of the characters which therefore also attribute the artist as not being good despite only being a character designer and not having anything else to do with the characters.
I think Hisashi also kinda suffer from same 6 faces design back then, around the time of Seed~Fafner although he does improve a lot since then. With characters having more different type of face shape and softer feature.
this is the anime that, i am waiting in srw universe but i really can't believe they add this series, i hope banpresto will add blue and gold awakening
