- In Survivor: Heroes vs Villains, Colby is so determined to get to the reward challenge that he doesn't want a taste of chocolate before hand. He then decides to sit out of the challenge and watch the Villains win reward. Colby ain't no Hershey bar!

@@bloodyl3gend952 This season just had a lot of other people who could match Colby's athletics; Candice, James, Tyson, etc. He definitely wasn't at his prime either, so I think all of that could've affected him mentally.

And Jerri who openly talked about having sex dreams involving Colby and chocolate back in the Australian Outback is the person who scores the winning point for the Villains! This whole situation was hilarious and worked on so many levels!

Probably because he was in the second season and there wasn’t much competition yet.
I saw Australia recently for the first time and thought Colby would be this golden boi but I just found him grating and self-righteous. I actually liked him a lot more as a pathetic meme in HvV.
Yeah idk I think it was just for entertainment value and that was the culture. Colby was a picture of a good ol all American man, while Jerri could be viewed as the more snaky seductress.
Just wanna say that the recommended videos after with Chris getting voted out and Jenn's poker face hilariously works well with the Curb theme lmao

It's like when companies have rainbow logos for pride month or when cities rename streets to BLM Boulevard - feel good symbolism with no actual merit or meaning whatsoever, and will enable Survivor to maintain their white alpha male bias but with a "hey we're trying here" excuse to use against future criticism.

I actually liked The Colbster more on HvV than in Outback cause he sucked at challenges.
I actually agree, in the Outback he mainly just relied on winning challenges and I'm pretty sure Tina would have blindsided him if he would have lost any of them. In Heros vs Villains you saw more of his strategic side. I'm not saying he was a mastermind, but it was sort of cool seeing him and Rupert actually come up with a strategy to use the villains splitting votes to vote Candice out.
