I like what you have to say, usually, about movies, but even when I don't agree it's still cool because you're so unpretentious about everything. You seem to be having a lot of fun, and that's rare these days. Folks get so serious all the time. That's all, I guess. One more thing, though. I'm gonna have to give Halloween 4 another view after hearing what you had to say about it. x I was born on the date that the first Star Trek film was released (December 7, 1979) x I was going to write a lot of those down but some people I know would be very angry with me if I did not watch those films with them first (films they have been talking about a long time, like Night Of The Comet, Night Shift, Pet Sementary, etc.) x I added Something Wild and The Fog to my March Watchlist. x For some of my favorites...Supergirl, Batman, Indiana Jones Trilogy, Heathers, The Goonies, The Land Before Time, National Lampoons Vacation, Funny Farm, Ghost Busters, The Return To Oz, The Secret Of NIMH, E.T., Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Labyrinth, The Karate Kid Trilogy, and Gremlins. Note: x I didn't include The Empire Strikes Back because I always watch the Star Wars Trilogy as basically one long film (and the first one was released in 1977). x I do the same thing with The Evil Dead Trilogy, the last one being released in 1992.
I may make a top 25 list later but in the meanwhile here are a few of my 80s favorites I haven't seen listed by anyone: Raising Arizona is definitely in my top 25 while Labyrinth and Return to Oz may make my top 25.

Well I got to 25 films 1981-3 (I estimate if I kept looking there would be around 100 in total) Sorry there aren't so many horror films. They often give me nightmares. Even the few I did include (American Werewolf, Fanny & Alexander do give me a few bad evenings) It took me til the 90s to watch Nt of the Living Dead. And then only ONCE.

Hi,Daniel.Recently saw The Blog with my daughter(23),I hadn't seen it for about 30 years.Still holds up very well,with tense moments,s ome humour and Fantastic practical effects.My Daughter thought it was 'well hanging'and loved the practical effects(we double-billed it with Dolls)She made the point that practical fx blend into the films well,whereas CGI often draws attention to itself(and not in a good way)Thanks for a Great channel,hope you're well.PS have you ever considered an overview of Pete Walker or Norman J Warren?Here in England they seem to have gained a small cult following.

x I didn't include The Empire Strikes Back because I always watch the Star Wars Trilogy as basically one long film (and the first one was released in 1977).
x I do the same thing with The Evil Dead Trilogy, the last one being released in 1992.
I may make a top 25 list later but in the meanwhile here are a few of my 80s favorites I haven't seen listed by anyone: Raising Arizona is definitely in my top 25 while Labyrinth and Return to Oz may make my top 25.
