@@antonyc.7173 But the original dialogue itself is always different, especially between games or characters, how it manages to be so consistent, even across games with something like BT or The War, is both sort of surprising and funny.
The closest explanation I ever found to something like this once was someone theorizing that everyone saying that they ... arrived were originally saying "Let's go" in the normal games.
But the languages could also have something to do with it.

This is phenomenal, and I would like to thank everyone who was involved in it.
Once again, weird consistency, as Hugh's blatant evil throughout the series ramped up to stealing the power of darkness for himself.
Clearly you misunderstood the plot Hughs goal was to help mary accept his bisexuality and is now with his husband frog and wife peaches. Hugh was gay but hated himself thus the homophobia… then tragically he as he says before in his backstory vowed to ensure mary was never discriminated against EVER again. It shows how you simply don’t understand the complexities of the writing in this story NAY odyssey of pure literary genius.

1:22:47 To be fair, in BoM:ToD (since I imagine Fatguy’s badly translated playthroughs are what inspired this and GBoM), Mario _does_ apparently give birth to Mini Yoshi, with King K claiming that he’s the father, so it doesn’t seem like Mario has been trying to hide it lol
This whole mod is a masterpiece. 2 hours and 16 minutes of the highest-quality hilarity right here lads. I’ve laughed out loud way too many times from start to finish. Great job on the whole game!

halfway through im slowly starting to realize that i've been watching a fever dream masterpiece. and i so love this series for it.
This is such a good series never failed to make me laugh, thank you!
Soo, the lore I'm getting so far:
- Mario and Peach (who is 12 years old) go to check on "Port Prison", a prison colony, and find out that the toads have recently lost control over the island and now the prisoners have taken over. There is a lot of drug trade, assault and tax increase and as a result the toads are all depressed and just want to die.
- Mario tries to regain control over the island using his hacker skills. He is accompanied by "Uncle Howie", a sentient paint-bucket with a split personality that probably represents his different colours. One side is in love with Mario and hates drugs and profanity, the other side is completely unhinged, smokes, drinks, makes innuendos and tells Mario to end himself on a regular basis.
- As it turns out, there is some strange, twisted mindset present on the island, where about everyone wants to die or kill you and ways to do so (like cancer) are celebrated and given out like good luck charms. With the frequent mentions of god, satan and sin, it is possible that the whole place is not real and instead some form of hellish purgatory. Everyone is trapped in a collective nightmare and most are trying to escape it by dying (but fail, as the pirate toad later mentions, that he already killed himself). This might be a divine punishment, because the pirate toad says "remember what happened in the Garden of Eden".
- Mario hopes that obtaining the Naked Stars will end the nightmare
- Update: The different reality theory is kind of confirmed later by Uncle Howie, when he says that they "can't go back to earth"
How can something be so funny and stupid but at the same time consistent enough for making an entire story that actually makes sense!?
