Bob still has his idiosyncratic style that I never really understood. So many chords voicings, huge pallet etc. Vocally he’s fine here, but that guitar tone is damn near unlistenable. What the hell? I liked him down in the mix during the Dead heyday, as a team player while Jerry was front and center mostly. What is Bob thinking? Hearing damage? Worst “Music Never Stopped” I have ever heard ever, including bad cover bands. Oh no it’s “Easy Answers”. Awful. Anything listenable in this? I’ll skim through and look for anything to redeem these first 2 songs. Sad. I love Bob but maybe he isn’t really aware of his bad playing and worse tone
