So basically the harvest moon name is still owned by one company, but the people that actually made the games have moved on and are making the story of seasons games since they can't use the harvest moon name anymore.

Man I would buy the Unicorn Overlord sale so fast if I could get it for my steam deck but I know that isn't going to happen. My day one switch seems to finally be on it's way out after the billion hours I used it for and just waiting for the switch 2 or whatever it is to replace it. Also get that Star Ocean 2 sale it is not just the best in star ocean series but probably one of the best rpgs ever that easily stands with all of the titans of that time.
I got it for PS5 and have been playing it via Chiaki on my Steam Deck. Vanillaware seems to be pretty anti-PC so I wouldn't hold your breath for a steam release sadly
got FF7 Rebirth and Visions of Mana on sale via Amazon. Still busy with DQ3 remake tho Love Kemco, their games are the fast food of JRPGs, cheap, quick and easy to beat.

It's an older game but the Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 remaster on PS5 is $20! Final Fantasy 16 on PS5 is $25 as well. Had to pick both of those up.
