I got my carbon version a couple of weeks ago and have been tearing up the fields with my 7 yo.. This truck is nearly indestructible. My son ran it into a goal post at maybe 40 kph and it only dented the ridges around the screw holes on front suspension arm. Definitely the best Truggy for the sale and full price. and don't bother with the cheaper MJX's that break on slightest impact.
That’s what I did… found a bunch of bigger mah 3s batteries that fit without putting the esc on the center support bars… once you put it in the proper order it jumps even better…
I like mine too . For about a month now . I just started jumping the cf version the other day and am about to then I saw this vid and thought to check it out real quick .
I really like an in-depth video about shocks and diffs. Been reading different oil viscosities on the internet. Never heard of 500k cst on the center diff.
Thank you, glad ypu enjoyed 👍 yeah i use 500k alot in my 1/8 bashers, thickens them up but they still work as a diff rather than completely seizing thtm with silicon earplugs e.t.c 👍
@@RCvapor but it must be very different, not saying it's wrong, I am new to this, just trying to understand. most setups I hear is 5-7k/3k CST, versus 50k/30k. thanks!
@LucianTugui thats a good question, for racing 1/10 buggies, trucks e.t.c i would say 5k7k3k is a good setup, generally higher in front to rear as helps with cornering, it really depends on personal choice and driving style, not really a wrong or right for bashing, i like to send my cars high and do backflips, using a thicker centre fluid will definitely help achieve this, hope that helps 👍
Thanks to @CSL33 for a different method to remove lcentre diff 👍 Remove only TWO screws from the top (2X M3x10mm, directly behind where the brace secures to the center diff support and ahead of the last two M2.5), and 10 screws from the bottom, all next to each other in two rows, starting from the rear and along the center of the aluminum chassis and then just slide-out the bulkhead to reveal the center diff.
What channel is that on ? Thanks . I did remove the center diff yesterday and it involved removing the cf center braces , 2 screws under the servo to slide out the brace , the motor mount underneath to get the center dd if out . Even then it was tight to get back in . Motor mount had other be completely put for me . I’m interested in another way but I can get it done any way . I thought he way I did it was a bit extreme for a center diff . The reason why I had to change it is I messed up a the original pinion and spur gear so I got another spur gear and center diff so I could have an extra . I have some 100k here but after opening a new center diff it seemed packed good with thicker grease imho .
Thanks to @CSL33 for pointing out another way to take out centre diff . Remove only TWO screws from the top (2X M3x10mm, directly behind where the brace secures to the center diff support and ahead of the last two M2.5), and 10 screws from the bottom, all next to each other in two rows starting from the rear and along the center of the aluminum chassis, and then just slide-out the bulkhead to reveal the center diff. ----> Hence, no need for the tedious removal of the chassis brace, or receiver box and servo, nor dealing with the ESC's wiring or even taking-out the battery! :D
I have the carbon fiber one and I like it . Despite the center diff isn’t the easiest to get to , it’s not the hardest either . It’s a solid build imo . I don’t know much about RC s like many others except what my mind tells me .
Just got mine in the post today took a week to get here from china. Not going to run it yet got a lot of upgrades I want to buy and put on before I do anything . Thanks for your video it’s given me more knowledge than I already know . Last rc car I had from new was the mud blaster from tamia in the 80,s . Looks like all the 4x4s have come on so much over the years. Will do a few videos of what I’m upgrading on my way and then a few videos of the different areas that I’m planning on taking it . Seen as I’m a beginner I think this is a great entry level truck for me to start on .
Awesome, that's quick delivery 😀 I'll look out for your videos and upgrades, a great fun car. Yes I had a frog back in the late 80's, they have come a long way. Although just great fun and live the tinkering, enjoy and thank you 😊 🙏
@ very quick delivery I wasn’t expecting it till 25/01/2025 . Frogs were fun a mate of mine had something similar black with yellow stripes on it can’t quite put my finger on the name of it but very similar to the frog another buggie type car another pall had the wheelie machine lunch box all good cars back in the day.
Yeah only 3.4kg but pretty quick, turned the car well, had no issues with it, its a tight squeeze getting in, just because the jst lead from servo catches on mount slightly, i just dremmeled a smidge off of the mount, and fits in perfect, not many servos that will fit apart ftom rlaarlos own by the looks of it ?
Yeah i looked at the jx too, still waiting for the rlaarlo one to come, didnt turn up with car and my local hobby chop had the power hobby one in stock 😁
On the cf version , has anyone figured out the 30% turbo button on the side ? . It’s supposed to be a boost . Not to top end speed but get to top end 30% faster . I seen it has its own channel and cpl wires from the receiver to esc .
Hi mate great video. Yeah the 1.5 mm hex screws are useless. I got the Rlaarlo terminator RZ001B-C I've changed the esc with castle mamba max pro it will take upto 6s but ill be happy with 4s and mounted it behind the motor on a bracket and extended the battery back further all for better handling. My antenna tip dropped off so running dumborc controller. That red body looks fantastic mate love. Can't wait to see your next video. I'm in Australia mate 👍🦘😁😁😁
Brilliant that sounds like an awesome setup 👌 thank you for you comment, much appreciated, skatepark for the next video, going to put the larger pinion in and thinking of changing placement of electronics 👍
Waiting on some 4s backflips for the k6s today . They have an aluminum red wheelie bar on sale for $22 on Amazon . They’re usually around $40 . This little car though . You see me back to check the vid again 👍. This little 1/12 is a sweet little handler and lander imo . For $250 has been a good one for me stock . I seen a couple vids where people are unhappy and having problems but so far , it’s good . I did notice the rear diff outdrives are damaged kinda of early . It’s on the side where the dogbone pin would hit on reverse though ? Can’t fortune that one unless it’s from my bad landings and 🤸♂️cartwheels . It’s had a few lawn darts , nothing bad . I’ve been off this whole week so I really got to know the truck a little bette . Also , the tires were wobbly and noisy when I’d pick it up and throttle . Just taking off and re setting did the trick . Back to smooth and silent . Another month or so or after I m over the honeymoon phase I ll send this pup full throttle and see what she does . Just a wee bit of too much waffling from me 😂, way too much , lol
Thats a good deal 👌 yeah im still really enjoying this truck, taking it to the skate park tommorow, hopefully not to many breaks, 😬 glad your enjoying it 👍🏻😀
I have the carbon fiber version it's awesome , I had a problem with the remote , I figured it out before the customer service i emailed got back to me. They never got back to me. So dont expect them to help.
Agree, im putting together a full review, wanted to run the car several times first. It handles like a much bigger car, brilliant little basher for the money imo, thank you for the comment 😀
noo, they removed the 'designed by china' lettering? im so bummed :( great test and lots of nasty crashes! Definitely confident i'll be fine for a while with this car!
It would have been nicer if they didn't lie about the size. That never works, because eventually you get in bed and everything is out there for her to see and laugh at. Trust me. Just admit that you're not a 10th scale and she won't be as disappointed. Don't put a sock in there. That only works for wrestlers and rock stars.

I find your shock setup very informative, as mine, already has extreme wear on the shaft cups, so much that they need replacing

Good to know 😁 definitely going to change the inners around, cheers 👍
Which lipos fit in there?
Cool little truck 🚒
Cheers, appreciate the comment 👍
been ripping my carbon version 25/7 since it arrived ! absolutely perfect size and power for my garden track.
Agree it definitely rips and handles great 👍, thsnk you for your comment. Appreciated 👍

Great video Ben it drives great aswell 👍🏻
Cheers mate, 👍agree very driveable little truck 😁
Hey there, nice video! Level up ⬆️ Looks like a real basher for it's size.

Maybe try using a sticky pad on the bottom of your esc and just one strong zip tie in the middle that’s what I did
Thats a good shout 👌 tbh i think im gonna get some good shorty packs and revert back to original esc placement, but will try ypur idea first 👍

Haha 😏👍
Nice build. Can you comment on the exact electronics you used, especially which servo? Thx.
Thank you 👍
Power HD 1250MG Micro Servo, hobbywing 10blg2 ESC, 3000kv surpass 540 motor
@@RCvapor thanks for the info. Is the servo powerful enough? Car is quite heavy.

Thank you for the omni terminator videos!
Currently looking for videos on yt for setup, maintainance, improvements etc
Pleasure, enjoyed it, more content soon once i get home, been away a few weeks 😀👍

Very front heavy!!
A little, but just adspted the driving style to the car, a bit more throttle on takeoff. Overall handled very well for its size, 👍

Better off with a hyper ready to Amazon special
Everybody has there choice. The hypers are good cars, have several, the rlaarlo handles better, whatever puts the biggest smile on your face 😀
Hyper pile of 💩sold mine after two bashes
