I'd say they are number 3. I just don't see how K&C could surpass a pair of units that almost reenacted what STR Super Gogeta was capable of doing on release, but I do see them being arguably better than TEQ SSJ4 Gogeta considering their long time in the spotlight.

They just aged the fastest out of the anniversary units (if we exclude eza) and became so bad that no one was talking about them after vegito and buuhan release.
Agl super vegito was crazy busted when he released, he introduced a whole new mechanic to the game, the counter mechanic and he was immune to pretty much all attacks. He carried you through the hardest fights at the time.

I know its already been said many times here, but I am blown away by Kale and Cauilifla not being on this list. It is genuinely, an impossibility to overstate how broken they were when they released. For those who weren't around at the time, the game had introduced The Legendary Goku event as the hardest event in the games history, and by quite a margin. When it came out, it was the hardest hitting (aside from gimmick attacks) boss, with the highest chance to dodge, best type coverage and every other metric in the game at the time. And it introduced new aspects of difficulty never seen before in the game. If you had the best units in the game aside from K&C, you could still struggle to beat it. When K&C came out, their kit was literally built to make lightwork of that event, and they did. By the end of the fight, theyd have the highest attack stats, the highest defense stats, the highest dodge chance, and the highest number of additional the game has ever seen. When the year 5s came out, there were still many places they were best in the game. It was ridiculous. (Also, being a joined Forces lead, You could run many of the best units in the game all on the same team)
You forgot the part where they broke the entirety of the game with their ki mechanic where their 12ki super counted as an 18ki attack which made JP's game stats broken for weeks

i think the guy who made this video probably only started playing after K+C based on this video. compared to the last few years, he misses loads of super OP units from the early days like INT Gohan, AGL SV, PHY Blue vegito all the way up to K+C.
They are still beasts of their own. Just imagine what a stand alone gogeta blue or ssj4 gogeta would be capable of. Any stand alone fusion. Dont see any stand alone ssj4 or blue fusions till they do a stand alone super gogeta or super vegito.

A few other monsters of Dokkans past are Int Janemba and Phy VB. Dokkan will NEVER make a unit like them again in modern times, Janemba guarding AND dodging and Vegito doing additionals + counters is insane.
Prior to Teq ultimate Gohan. Int janemba was easily the best aging unit. I remember when str janemba ezad and Int Janemba was essentially still as strong as him

He was the best unit in the game, better than the #1 unit on the list here, but it wasn't as much of a jump compared to STR Broly (chose a random DFE because I wasn't playing at the time) and STR Super Gogeta.
AGL TUR Golden Frieza probably should've been on this list, he's with gohan in terms of best aging unit due to his 90% damage reduction, taking some of the hardest hits in dokkan. You can also get him easily with the wish strips so everyone can get him. His main weakness is his leader skill mostly because certain events prevent nuking leaders to be used.

now i know the hype can be blinding but looking back the blue fusions even after transformed werent hitting game changing numbers until after a few turns of building up (they had to attack 11 times) i would hesitate to call them one of the most broken units in the games history since they are also the worst aging units in the games history
Dont really agree with 5th anni units, that was the hypest celebration thats totally true, but there were not that good, defence not that good, and u had to fully stack them to deal great damages, which took time
INT Janemba would definitely be on here, but I don't exactly have much to say other than STR Super Gogeta overshadowed him. LR Kale and Caulifla are around 3-4 considering their longetivity as a number 1 unit. LR Gohan and Goten were too situational to be on the list, as not only was their linkset wonky, but they had to attack 10 times in total to reach full strength. AGL Super Vegito, like INT Super Janemba, is a unit I can't really say much about other than it's not as *much* of a jump in power as what STR Super Gogeta and arguably everyone else here brought to the game. Although I would definitely have him on the list.
I feel like it is important to mention that for teq ultimate gohan in particular, he is still yet to eza, 3 and a half years later, and he is still hella good on a chunk of harder events. Safe to say, his eza is gonna go wild (if they make his ultimate form stack atk and def as well its straight up over) Edit: Well well fucking well
*sigh* LR Goku and Frieza, STR Namek Goku and LR Gohan and Goten are too situational to be on this list. STR Cooler is a unit I would probably place around where Videl and the GT Duo are, just because of his ridiculous leader skill, ridiculous kit, and his ability to dogwalk the hardest event at that time (LGE). LR Kale and Caulifla is around top 3 material. I wouldn't put them above the 7th anni LRs because of their ability to almost replicate what STR Super Gogeta was capable of doing, but arguably above TEQ SSJ4 Gogeta because of their longetivity as number 1. And PHY Mira doesn't have an EZA.
Jiren is first one to release with 200% on base. Exchange Androids, base is only 78% and need to exchange to 16 for that 200% for only 3 turns and it has conditions to do.
Idk about Vegeta and Trunks. Sure, they were invulnerable tanks on release with ungodly leader skills, but with how higher levels of stupidness existed, I wouldn't put them higher than like... 5. Orange Piccolo definitely has a better argument, though. Kale and Caulifla should definitely be on here, but at most above TEQ SSJ4 Gogeta.

I am the biggest blue fusions hype man out there, but even i gotta say that they shouldn't be on this list. It's also funny how you didn't even mention Kale and Caulifa at all. I'd personally add AGL Gogeta and maybe PHY Broly. They were the 1st ever duel category leads and both were crazy in SBR and eventually the OG LG Goku event. Also their transformations were very strong. Also I think maybe Gobros as well since they introduced Goku's family category to global before the 4th anniversary Goku and, was the closest unit to contend with Kale and Caulifla. Not to mention that they're out right better than the 4th anniversary LRs. Oh and Gamma 1 & 2 just because.
Unpopular opinion. Even though VB and GB were Hype Characters, I wasn't a big fan of the 5th anniversary. And they aged pretty fast. Therefor I am more than happy, that the got a great EZA.
I wouldn't say that is an unpopular opinion. They were within the top 3 for about 2 months, and then ESBR came out, in which you could MAYBE get away with them, but I feel like they've fallen off by the time of the category ESBR and God Event stages.
Pretty bad list ngl. Missing INT Janemba, Kale and Caulifla, AGL SSJ Gohan, and somehow, someway, LR STR Broly, who annihilated endgame content until God of Destruction events came out.
I mean, agl super vegito was almost unkillable and dunked on everyone in terms of damage while ushering in the biggest leader skill jump dokkan has ever had. Int LR vegito and gogeta were insane too on release and int vegito was so wild, he literally popularized soloing dokkan events with him just cause he could. And obviously kale and caulifla broke the game so badly, people were pissed it was them as number one cause they didnt feel like it was deserved lol.
I mean the blue fusions arguably lost their top spot during their own celebration and were basically out of the top 10 but the 6th year anniversary unlike ui goku who had a strangle hold on the top spot for an entire year
5th aniversary lrs were not even as good as buuhan they literally were frauds lol thay were not that crazy snap that back buddy. Where lr kale and caulifla their ur was the 2nd best unit in the game lol for a long ass time.
10:15 also they introduced multiple new mechanics, like attack break, 2 active skills, intro animations, massively raising attack and defense on super, and also guaranteed crits on an active skill.
I would've liked it if you spent a line or two talking about how the units have held up, if they're still worth running, or if they've been left behind. I dunno, a little "before" and "after" could've been both informative, and helpful for some players.
I would make the more opinionated addition of the 2nd year SSJ4s, as they were one of the first units to hit over 1 million and also introduced the 120% mono type meta. I think its kind of ridiculous that you didn't include the 3rd year LRs at all considering they were the first dokkan fest LRs and were quite litreally untouchable when they came out. I honestly think they could be on the same level of STR gogeta when he came out, and also actually aged decently without their EZA for a while, as they were still a great option for the legendary goku event when it came out.
eh I kinda disagree with hit and Goku. they were great units but I feel like they never got used to their full potential because their link set was not great and their team just didn’t work well… at least for me I used them maybe max for a couple joined forces e/SBR and nothing else 💀
On release the original set of god leads were so broken. They were the first characters with percentage based leader skills. AGL Vegito was the best unit in the game up until the second year anniversary when str ssj4 goku took that title as he was able to get a 1 million attack stat without a nuke. The ssj4 vegeta could as well but he needed support. When the nuking meta was around Teq perfect cell was a god he hit so hard for the time, int buuhan was really good as well due to being able to lower attack.
I dunno why but something about you using the 2x speed to show off units instead of the 1x to get the whole animation I really like. It's like we're watching it from the natural state of our game, and that's more true than showing the full animation.
No Kale and Caulifla and AGL Super Vegito lol, LR K&C aged better than 5th Fusion after 5th anniversary. People were still debating about K&C above Fusions even during 5th anni. No AGL Super Vegito is just stupid, he was equal to STR Super Gogeta.
I have to disagree with the blusions. they honestly felt like garbage and it would take forever just to get them to their fully built up state, even then their defense was pretty bad. especially compared to the annivs before them like the 3rd and 4th. it wasn't until recently with their eza they became far better.
I feel LR Kale and Caulifla should have been here. LR Kale and Caulifla released right after the 4th anniversary and were the undisputed best units in the game for a full year straight until the 5th anniversary. They literally dominated every single event in the game without a second thought when they first released it was ridiculous.

This list is wrong. You're not focusing on any older units other than SGR Gogeta. The original STR Broly was broken on release, LR INT Gohan was insanely broken on release, you never mentioned in the nuking leaders (emphasis on TEQ SSB Goku), you never memtioned AGL DFE Super Vegitp who was WAY more broken on release than STR Super Vegito, you never mentioned PHY DFE Vegito Blue who was EASILY the 2nd strongest unit on release EVER, even LR STR Broly on release was more broken at the time than 75% of the units you listed in this video. The original SS4 Goku and Vegeta were the first 120% leads, the Year 3 LRs on release were crazy, the Year 4 LRs on release were crazy, etc. You left out FAR too many units that were truly metagame defining, revolutionary units. Agl SV literally broke Dokkan. 80% reduction with counter is insane. Brought a new meta. HE LITERALLY FUCKED DOKKAN. Just to compare Vegtio who came out 5 months after Gogeta. Vegito wasn't even anniversy unit btw. Gogeta: all allies ki +3 and 3000 atk Super attack: immense damage Passive: atk + 7000 and effective against all types. Vegito: Agl allies ki+ 3 Hp, Atk and Def + 70% Super attack: immense damage. All allies atk +30% for 1 turn. Passive: reduces damage received by normals atk with 80% and counters with tremendous power. Notice the HUGE DIFFERENCE between the two. All this in 4 months. Vegito literally changed dokkan from the wild west to actual leaders being useful. Before him only nuking made sense. It was only dokkanfests. No LR's, No Yellow coin LR's, no percentage leader skills. It was so ancient they used release banners with normal units. They would release a Cell Saga banner with only 2 new units that didn't even awaken. They were just there. Leaders skills did nothing. Even Int ultimate Gohan who came out two months after str gogeta on jp only gave 3 ki and 3000 atk to int. He regressed. A newer unit with a worse leader skill. With vegito stepping in you could actually make a team that made sense dominated the game. This fucker was so good they should have called it: Dokkan the sequel. Shit is real now.
The ability to know in which attacking slot will be the enemy's super attack/'s. It's called a scouter because there was an item, that was a scouter from Frieza's army, that had the same effect, the item is now nerfed and pretty useless considering there's some characterss that can do the same.
this video still missing alot. AGL Super Vegito was literally impossible to kill when he released, and his leader skill for Super AGL was utterly broken at the time. Also missed STR UI goku, who was the best unit in the game on release and fodderized every bit of content on release. Id also thro the SSJ4's on here as the first 120% mono type leaders. Also big miss not including LR AGL Kale and Caulifla, which was the first example in Dokkan history that dokkan had to nerf a unit because it was too good. And even after the nerf they were still number 1. Also feel like you coulda gave an honorable mention to TEQ Caulifla, with her guaranteed dodge against pure saiyan and universal survival saga enemies, she was a must run on so many teams in SBR, ESBR, and the god event.

The 5th anni LRs were never the best units in the game or even particularly good, they were pretty good when they released just because so many pre 2020 units sucked, but K&C was way better than them. It doesn't help that just 2 months after release, ESBR dropped, an event that basically hard countered them.
Int lr gohan (first lr and hardest hitting unit for several months) Agl kale and caulifla (basically a second gogeta case, you either had them or you didnt) Agl super vegito (introduced counters which was too strong forcing the developers to nerf counter units forever) Int buuhan (Your team was immortal, the healing was too much. Especially on a full buu or healing team) These should alllll be on the list and if you’re a dokkan OG you should know.

You forgot teq caulifla, agl kale and caulifla, agl super vegito, teq orange picollo, the gamas. I know its already been said many times here, but I am blown away by Kale and Cauilifla not being on this list. It is genuinely, an impossibility to overstate how broken they were when they released. For those who weren't around at the time, the game had introduced The Legendary Goku event as the hardest event in the games history, and by quite a margin. When it came out, it was the hardest hitting (aside from gimmick attacks) boss, with the highest chance to dodge, best type coverage and every other metric in the game at the time. And it introduced new aspects of difficulty never seen before in the game. If you had the best units in the game aside from K&C, you could still struggle to beat it. When K&C came out, their kit was literally built to make lightwork of that event, and they did. By the end of the fight, theyd have the highest attack stats, the highest defense stats, the highest dodge chance, and the highest number of additional the game has ever seen. When the year 5s came out, there were still many places they were best in the game. It was ridiculous. (Also, being a joined Forces lead, You could run many of the best units in the game all on the same team)

A few other monsters of Dokkans past are Int Janemba and Phy VB. Dokkan will NEVER make a unit like them again in modern times, Janemba guarding AND dodging and Vegito doing additionals + counters is insane.

AGL TUR Golden Frieza probably should've been on this list, he's with gohan in terms of best aging unit due to his 90% damage reduction, taking some of the hardest hits in dokkan. You can also get him easily with the wish strips so everyone can get him. His main weakness is his leader skill mostly because certain events prevent nuking leaders to be used.
agl golden frieza didn’t age as well tho, he’s starting to take dmg from normals, while gohan on the other hand just refuses to take any kind of dmg

INT Janemba would definitely be on here, but I don't exactly have much to say other than STR Super Gogeta overshadowed him.
LR Kale and Caulifla are around 3-4 considering their longetivity as a number 1 unit.
LR Gohan and Goten were too situational to be on the list, as not only was their linkset wonky, but they had to attack 10 times in total to reach full strength.
AGL Super Vegito, like INT Super Janemba, is a unit I can't really say much about other than it's not as *much* of a jump in power as what STR Super Gogeta and arguably everyone else here brought to the game. Although I would definitely have him on the list.

I feel like it is important to mention that for teq ultimate gohan in particular, he is still yet to eza, 3 and a half years later, and he is still hella good on a chunk of harder events. Safe to say, his eza is gonna go wild (if they make his ultimate form stack atk and def as well its straight up over)

STR Cooler is a unit I would probably place around where Videl and the GT Duo are, just because of his ridiculous leader skill, ridiculous kit, and his ability to dogwalk the hardest event at that time (LGE).
LR Kale and Caulifla is around top 3 material. I wouldn't put them above the 7th anni LRs because of their ability to almost replicate what STR Super Gogeta was capable of doing, but arguably above TEQ SSJ4 Gogeta because of their longetivity as number 1.
And PHY Mira doesn't have an EZA.

I'd personally add AGL Gogeta and maybe PHY Broly. They were the 1st ever duel category leads and both were crazy in SBR and eventually the OG LG Goku event. Also their transformations were very strong. Also I think maybe Gobros as well since they introduced Goku's family category to global before the 4th anniversary Goku and, was the closest unit to contend with Kale and Caulifla. Not to mention that they're out right better than the 4th anniversary LRs. Oh and Gamma 1 & 2 just because.
Unpopular opinion. Even though VB and GB were Hype Characters, I wasn't a big fan of the 5th anniversary.
And they aged pretty fast. Therefor I am more than happy, that the got a great EZA.
I wouldn't say that is an unpopular opinion. They were within the top 3 for about 2 months, and then ESBR came out, in which you could MAYBE get away with them, but I feel like they've fallen off by the time of the category ESBR and God Event stages.

Int LR vegito and gogeta were insane too on release and int vegito was so wild, he literally popularized soloing dokkan events with him just cause he could. And obviously kale and caulifla broke the game so badly, people were pissed it was them as number one cause they didnt feel like it was deserved lol.
I mean the blue fusions arguably lost their top spot during their own celebration and were basically out of the top 10 but the 6th year anniversary unlike ui goku who had a strangle hold on the top spot for an entire year

10:15 also they introduced multiple new mechanics, like attack break, 2 active skills, intro animations, massively raising attack and defense on super, and also guaranteed crits on an active skill.

I would've liked it if you spent a line or two talking about how the units have held up, if they're still worth running, or if they've been left behind. I dunno, a little "before" and "after" could've been both informative, and helpful for some players.
I would make the more opinionated addition of the 2nd year SSJ4s, as they were one of the first units to hit over 1 million and also introduced the 120% mono type meta.
I think its kind of ridiculous that you didn't include the 3rd year LRs at all considering they were the first dokkan fest LRs and were quite litreally untouchable when they came out. I honestly think they could be on the same level of STR gogeta when he came out, and also actually aged decently without their EZA for a while, as they were still a great option for the legendary goku event when it came out.

On release the original set of god leads were so broken. They were the first characters with percentage based leader skills. AGL Vegito was the best unit in the game up until the second year anniversary when str ssj4 goku took that title as he was able to get a 1 million attack stat without a nuke. The ssj4 vegeta could as well but he needed support. When the nuking meta was around Teq perfect cell was a god he hit so hard for the time, int buuhan was really good as well due to being able to lower attack.

I have to disagree with the blusions. they honestly felt like garbage and it would take forever just to get them to their fully built up state, even then their defense was pretty bad. especially compared to the annivs before them like the 3rd and 4th. it wasn't until recently with their eza they became far better.

LR Kale and Caulifla released right after the 4th anniversary and were the undisputed best units in the game for a full year straight until the 5th anniversary. This list is wrong. You're not focusing on any older units other than SGR Gogeta. The original STR Broly was broken on release, LR INT Gohan was insanely broken on release, you never mentioned in the nuking leaders (emphasis on TEQ SSB Goku), you never memtioned AGL DFE Super Vegitp who was WAY more broken on release than STR Super Vegito, you never mentioned PHY DFE Vegito Blue who was EASILY the 2nd strongest unit on release EVER, even LR STR Broly on release was more broken at the time than 75% of the units you listed in this video. The original SS4 Goku and Vegeta were the first 120% leads, the Year 3 LRs on release were crazy, the Year 4 LRs on release were crazy, etc. You left out FAR too many units that were truly metagame defining, revolutionary units. Ginyu? Videl?? GOKU AND HIT??? Those units don't deserve to be anywhere near this top 10 list. I meam ffs NO LR KALE AND CAULIFLA??? WHO SPENT 2 YEARS AS THE BEST UNIT IN THE GAME?? Cmon bro.

1. LR Kale & Caulifla - by far the strongest character in the game when they released, they dominated the game for so long
2. EZA INT Janemba - he was the best UR when he EZA'd and was one of the best units in the game for over a year
3. AGL Golden Frieza - one of the oldest unit's in the game, easy to get, 90% dmg reduction
4. TEQ Caulifla - 100% dodge against ToP and Pure saiyan characters. Way too broken

Agl SV literally broke Dokkan. 80% reduction with counter is insane. Brought a new meta. HE LITERALLY FUCKED DOKKAN. Just to compare Vegtio who came out 5 months after Gogeta. Vegito wasn't even anniversy unit btw.

Super attack: immense damage
Passive: atk + 7000 and effective against all types.
Vegito:
Agl allies ki+ 3 Hp, Atk and Def + 70%
Super attack: immense damage. All allies atk +30% for 1 turn.
Passive: reduces damage received by normals atk with 80% and counters with tremendous power.
Notice the HUGE DIFFERENCE between the two. All this in 4 months. Vegito literally changed dokkan from the wild west to actual leaders being useful. Before him only nuking made sense. It was only dokkanfests. No LR's, No Yellow coin LR's, no percentage leader skills. It was so ancient they used release banners with normal units. They would release a Cell Saga banner with only 2 new units that didn't even awaken. They were just there. Leaders skills did nothing. Even Int ultimate Gohan who came out two months after str gogeta on jp only gave 3 ki and 3000 atk to int. He regressed. A newer unit with a worse leader skill. With vegito stepping in you could actually make a team that made sense dominated the game.
This fucker was so good they should have called it: Dokkan the sequel. Shit is real now.
Ultimate Gohan WASN"T the first unit to indefinitely stack greatly. The first unit to ever stack greatly defense was INT Goku Black

The ability to know in which attacking slot will be the enemy's super attack/'s. It's called a scouter because there was an item, that was a scouter from Frieza's army, that had the same effect, the item is now nerfed and pretty useless considering there's some characterss that can do the same.
Ssj4 limit breaker vegito is the str gogeta of current. This guys cooks
A unit that absolutely deserves to be on here is lr kale and caulifa they were the undisputed number one for a year until blue fusions came out
Bro Kale feat Caulifla LR is by far the most broken character ever released in dokkan battle
this video still missing alot. AGL Super Vegito was literally impossible to kill when he released, and his leader skill for Super AGL was utterly broken at the time. Also missed STR UI goku, who was the best unit in the game on release and fodderized every bit of content on release. Id also thro the SSJ4's on here as the first 120% mono type leaders. Also big miss not including LR AGL Kale and Caulifla, which was the first example in Dokkan history that dokkan had to nerf a unit because it was too good. And even after the nerf they were still number 1. Also feel like you coulda gave an honorable mention to TEQ Caulifla, with her guaranteed dodge against pure saiyan and universal survival saga enemies, she was a must run on so many teams in SBR, ESBR, and the god event.
LR Kale & Caulifla, LR STR Broly, and AGL Super Vegito deserve to be on this list. I'd probably take off LR Hit & God Goku, and maybe Jiren.

The 5th anni LRs were never the best units in the game or even particularly good, they were pretty good when they released just because so many pre 2020 units sucked, but K&C was way better than them. It doesn't help that just 2 months after release, ESBR dropped, an event that basically hard countered them.
Int lr gohan (first lr and hardest hitting unit for several months)
Agl kale and caulifla (basically a second gogeta case, you either had them or you didnt)
Agl super vegito (introduced counters which was too strong forcing the developers to nerf counter units forever)
Int buuhan (Your team was immortal, the healing was too much. Especially on a full buu or healing team)
