This is a good instructor because he is spending a lot of time providing foundational information about the unit circle before you have to switch over to radian measures. Other instructors immediately begin to layer radian measures on top of the unit circle degrees so you feel a bit overwhelmed. That's especially true if you are still learning what sine, cosine, tangent, etc are. Here, you are being strongly encouraged to take the time to learn where the degrees are before they are replaced by radian measures. I also noticed how he encouraged you to see how each degree can be seen 2 ways depending on if you are going clockwise or counter clockwise. Now, on to the radian measures. He warned you! 👍
I was just wanted to say thank you for an awesome comment. I spent a great deal of time deciding exactly how I wanted to present this, and I’m really happy that you see the plan. I really wanted to introduce the unit circle carefully in terms of what it means before we do anything in radian measure or before you really apply sine and cosine to it. I think it takes time to absorb this information, but once you absorb it all of your skills and trigonometry and precalculus will be much much stronger. Thanks again and good luck on your studies! Jason
@@MathAndScience Hi Teach, Thank you for all your hard work and time, and great teaching efforts. But what is a negative angle ? Yes, (positive) 330 degrees corresponds to negative 30 degrees. But what does a ‘negative angle’ mean or represent. Is there a real life application for ‘negative angles’ ?
I found a really neat way to construct the unit circle when I was in high school. It requires adding 4 additional lines. Just divide the circle into equal 15 degree graduations. Then starting at the 0 degree line and number 0-24 going around counter clockwise ending back at the same line. I call these numbers "Q" Then theta= QPi/12 . This method can actually be used to determine the exact radian measure for any number of even divisions substituting also half the number of divisions for the numerator. If you divide the circle into 360 equal parts then theta=QPi/180. I've never seen anybody else ever do this and I'm more than old enough to have kids in high school. I never had to memorize the values of the unit circle because I knew how to make it. Sure, I get the whole special right triangle thing but I've always believed this was somehow really important. My high school trig teacher just got mad at me. I've never understood why.

Thanks for your patience. Please include in your illustrations the "unreduced" form of the pi fractions. As is, I don't get the numeric progression of the pi fractions from O radian to 2 pi. Or is there?
extremely beautiful explanations . Thanks a lot professor. The video belongs to which playlist ? . I find it difficult to search for the appropriate playlist sir. can you organize these videos into playlists sir?
Hi sir, I’ve been using your application to learn a lot of subject related to math and science and it have been tremendously improving my understanding on these subject. However I couldn’t find this new version of this trigs topic in the app. Which section does this topic located on? Thank you much appreciate if you can help. Btw it’s been 4 months since i first subscribed the premium version.

So can you say zero is (10/100)+ 90/100 ? Totaling 100/100 which is 1(90°) 1 out of 10 ? 1+9 ? If 100/100=1 then 36000/100=360 starting from 001/100- 36000/100 = 360 if you make space for zero than you have a total of 360001 spaces .. nobody wants to address this I know I'm right and the big bang theory is wrong. The count starts at 00.001 not 0 .. zero doesn't count. The second degree begins at 1.001 if you decide each degree into 100 fractions. I want to hear your counter argument. That's why people are still wondering what happens at the beginning.. there was no big bang and pie is incorrect.
360 degrees is just a man made number. It could just as easily be one. One time around the circle. Nothing magic about 360. At least I haven't seen it yet. So then half way around the circle is 1/2.

He is an absolute fantastic instructor if I had an instructor as this I would not have to learn trigenomrtary
🎉😊😅
i am 60yrs old already ,school days are different aproach to learning, thnx very much very clear ..this is what i miss during school years.
Being poor at Math always made me feel like a lame duck in school. I wish I had such wonderful teacher like you Sir. Thanks for the lovely videos.
You are welcome. Make sure to subscribe. :)
@@cosmo8210 kind of you to promote someone's channel. Love it

Thanks I was able to pass technology in mathematics for a electrician!

You're right. @14:00, I don't see how stacking 90° pizza slices is of any value. But! I have faith. Back at it...
Thanks I'm 68 ! Light bulb on!
Thank you so much for the GREAT, thorough content!

But why 360⁰ chose the whole number don't respond babalion sade that😢

See...if they had used math terms of chunks I mighta to more of an interest....

There is something magical about 360.
It can be divided evenly by all numbers up to 10 except for 7.
2+8+9=10
Guess it and here what you learn

Make simple
Less talk and make others to understand it
