If there's a quest that requires an item (like the teleportation scroll or the wand) you can just click the icon next to that quest on your quest list and it'll use that item automatically, you don't need to go searching through your bags for it.

I'm not sure if you've seen it, but there's a video on the world of warcraft youtube channel called "the story so far", it's meant to familiarize newer players to the relevant characters and events that are good to know for the upcoming story. I'd recommend giving it a watch!
Dalaran the floating city, started in original wow as the domed city no one could enter in Hillsbrad Foothills. During Wrath of the Lich King, it teleported to Northrend where it became the capital city for the fight against the Lich King. Right before Legion it appeared in the sky of Dead Wind Pass near Karazhan, it then teleported to the Broken Isles during Legion and remained there until you arrived. Dalaran has been destroyed twice before, it will be rebuilt most likely for the return to Northrend in the next expansion.
Great to see you jumping in. I played the Dalaran scenario through as soon as it opened and it was freaking EPIC! One of the best expansion starts I’ve seen in a long time. And Dalaran and Khadgar being destroyed by void - if you knew the history, you would know how big that is. Dalaran has been the central city in 2 expansions. Khadgar is a very longstanding character - check out the Warcraft movie to find out more. Him being killed off was epic, although I do have your suspicion maybe she pulled him into the void and is going to use him in some way. We’ll find out!

It's been awesome hearing your perspectives on everything, not just as a new player but as someone with prior MMORPG experience. I still main the very first character I made when I started back in Wrath - a fury warrior. I had to smile when you tried Avatar for the first time. Keep up the great content, its great to see you having a blast. I know you have gotten so many comments about keybinds in great detail that are amazing references, im gonna keep it short and sweet in hopes you do try it out and it makes your life easier without too much reading. You already have your bottom bar pretty set up, go to keybinds in settings > action bar 1 and copy what you have from your main action bar with a shift modifier, you can double your buttons and those new spells on the action bar you dont have buttons for will get keybindings. Action Bar 1 = shift 1, shift 2, etc.
a couple things, you missed the play video at the start which would have shown a special cut scene you can see it on the WoW youtube channel tho. for items used for quests you can click on the icon in the quest log on the side of the screen to use them instead of looking in your bags.

If you want to know more about Xal'atath, I recomend that you look for some videos explaining about her story, she's quite new to the lore, being first introduced only for the Shadow Priests players in the Legion expantion, and later in BFA to the rest of the players. She's probably going to be the main vilain in the World Soul Saga, and Blizzard is doing a good job at building her up imo. Khadgar, the wizard, in the other hand, is a very well established character, he's being around ever since the first game in Warcraft! He's also a very powerful wizard, I hope that he's still alive, he took part in a lot of events throught the story and to me, he's the closest thing that we, players, can relate to in game. But also, some times, Blizzard just kill some important characters like that...
The storm added to the suspenseful nature of the starting quests! I think you did the right thing jumping into TWW. You wn't have another chance like this for two years! The Squally quest takes place in the Dragonflight zones. You will pick up another three companion/battle pets. There is also a guy in Valdrakken that will give you Transmorgs. You should have a Level Up Boost available now that you bought the expansion. I'd suggest boosting a priest. First because it's a totally different experience to a warrior. Second because you will be able to learn more about Xal'atath when you get your Shadow Priest artifact weapon. And you will be able to do the dragonflight squally and other dragonflight battle pet quests. The area in the dalaran sewer is the Rogue Order Hall from Legion. Each class has it's own Order Hall that matches the aesthetic of the class.
One more thing, make sure to pick up mining ( I think I recall you have mining) for TWW before going out questing. Otherwise any ore you mine will not give you skill upgrades.

The guy Jack who was dead in the sewers is not the one you escaped the prison in Battle for Azeroth with, that was Flynn Fairwind i believe. Have fun in the new expansion.

I can't watch this vid cuz I don't have early access and i don't want spoilers but I wanted to make sure you know about transmog. You can make your armor look like any armor you have looted as long as your class can wear it. Goto warband collections to see what you have and what is available. bottom right horse shoe lookin thing.
PLOT TWIST: you didnt actually strengthen the defenses with that wand - you DISABLED them.. OOPSIE. But considering who was playing at being Drenden...
Xalatah is ancient as fk, goes all the way back to the old gods, theres a bunch of Vids on the history, and that elf body isnt theirs its basically a corpse that was taken over, wasnt thrilled how they did Khadgar right in the first 20 mins of the expansion, hope hes still alive somehow... also i didnt see if you set your hearthstone for the new main city, dont forget to do that., and learn your new professions in the city to get a jump start, Mats on the auction house are expensive at the moment, ganna have to do some farming.

One more thing I wanted to mention: I personally wouldn't mind for you not putting all that time into post production to cut out idle time if it helped you focus even more on the expansion and to release more content :D I bet it takes quite some time for you to go back to the footage and do all these edits. Time which you could spend exploring the new expansion even more :D :) whatever you do, I enjoy the content anyway!
