I remember when my mom bought me a platinum version of this game when I was like 10 years old and since then this game series has been a part of me. Nostalgia rush.
I think this is the only track that got stuck in my memory for years and years after playing the game. If I'm honest, I went back into the game because of this track, and because I remembered "a blond guy with pointy, bunny ears and an weird weasel". After that, I became a die hard fan of Jak and Daxter (and then Rayman as well, lol). Fun times I tell ya.
...what? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME! Instant death! It's an instant death if you fall into lava! What the fuck, Naughty Dog? What a fatal flaw! Fucking cheap instant death. This is so stoopid. Snort snort burp burp snort...
BulletBill42 I'm currently playing Jak 2 for the first time and it's been hard as shit, but so fun at the same time. Just got done racing against Erol. I'm just surprised how some people don't get the DSP reference.
I WOULD LOVE to 1v1 dsp in a speed run and breeze past even while he is just going for an any percent while I'm going full 100% he is barely half way through when I'm already fighting gol and maia
Those 3 platforms and the considerable spaces between them created a dilemma on whether to single or double jump. But when you double jumped during his third comeback, you'd be too slow for him, and THAT SHIT HURT
I love all three games but at the same time I'd be so curious to see what the Jak trilogy would look like had Naughy Dog stayed in the direction of "cutesy platformer and colorful worlds" rather than going down the dark and edgy road with Jak 2.
Splendid! Mancell basically took this track and divided the layers to make the bosses for the other Jak II and 3 games. At the beginning, that percussion influenced Jak 3 final boss soundtrack and those synthesizers influenced Jak II soundtrack.
i didnt play my ps2 in years and when i finally played it i found out almost all of my games were scratched somehow, about 5 games were good and this and Jak 3 were saved! :'D
Klaww has to be my favorite of all the lurkers. When I was kid I used to pretend to have his flaming boulder cannon the same way any other kid would pretend to be Superman. I read somewhere that he was actually sent to Rock Village by Maya herself to intercept Jak, so he drew him out by feigning a a rampage
first time i played this, i had to have my dad beat exactly 3 sections for me : this fight, Lava Tube, and the robot at the end. this soundtrack is so good though
well it wasn't that bad because it did introduce something I like and that's trying to hijack planes so you can upgrade yours :P have a nice day further :P
tell me a reason why it wasn't a bad game and that it didn't ruin the story please i mean the cutscenes were dull there was no life in the environments and the graphics were worse than the first jak and daxter. not to say the graphics were bad in the first game but well it was the first game in the series so it won't have as good graphics as the later games
The bowling alley from hell!
Best boss from my childhood, topped only by the precursor robot at the end!
The best track in history of videogames and credits.
I remember when my mom bought me a platinum version of this game when I was like 10 years old and since then this game series has been a part of me. Nostalgia rush.
Every time i hear this song, my brain will play the sound effects of Klaww shooting boulders at Jak...then getting smashed in the face by one :D
2021 and this song still slaps

In some ways I found this harder than the final boss.
i hadn't figured out using your shadow to measure your jump distance yet, so i kept dying to falling in the lava
This track has more of a Jak II feel to it than the others... :l
Where do you think Jak II got it's feel from?
@@guthetanuki256 probably jak 3
Who is listening this in 2020 is a real og and master
Am i the only one who would just mute all sounds to listen to this song while fighting the boss, die and do it again cause its so catchy
I actually had a file saved right before this boss battle, so I could go in and listen to the music whenever I wanted.
and thats why it plays for the end credits
This game is like a fine piece of art. I miss this game so much.
...what? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME! Instant death! It's an instant death if you fall into lava! What the fuck, Naughty Dog? What a fatal flaw! Fucking cheap instant death. This is so stoopid. Snort snort burp burp snort...
But it's lava.
+Hudesko You never played Jak 2? If you would, you would´nt complain about the battle against Klaww. Because that battle is f*cking easy

That boss battle was frikin lit. And the music was awesome to top it off.
I think this game is my favourite of all time. The soundtrack is one reason why ❤️

When VR gets well developed i hope they remake the first jak game it was amazing and to be fully immersed is a dream of mine
hands down best track in the entire series!

The nostalgia

This is an interesting piece of music! I love it!
and thus we enjoy with guns and darkness in jax 2.... fun but uhm, all the younger generations are saying WTF?
Best track in the game.
This should have been the final boss theme.
Exactly!
I guess they used this theme for Klaww because the robot was a more slower pace and Klaww was more faster
This music (and the boss) is awesome!
Double jump then spin to get extra air!
I remember having a hard time trying to beat Klaww but then within' around 3 attempts I actually finished the boss battle.
It took you 3 attempts?! Boi it took me 84 attempts. I'm obviously better at the game than you
My sister was being born but I decided to try and beat this boss instead
Woah.
Ah I see you are a truly dedicated fan
You fucking dick
@@krusher1234 ecks dee.
ah, I see. You're a man of culture as well
i didnt play my ps2 in years and when i finally played it i found out almost all of my games were scratched somehow, about 5 games were good and this and Jak 3 were saved! :'D
We can all see why this made it to the credits.

When naughty dog actually cared for the fans and gamers instead of politics
this boss was piece of cake!!!
my favourite music from the game as well
Nostalgia
Jak and Daxter the Best game on ps2
I'm 13 years Old
Yes
I always ran around grabbing 50 small eco before trying this guy. Something always went wrong fighting him...
I thought that Roboter would be hard to beat. I had Respekt. Now: Oh. It's over.😂
makes click clock noise when he goes back into the lava
im weird like that i hear noises
If jak 4 exist this music are the best forma the game xd
bro, learn english plis... wtf are you even saying?
+Justin Johnson (Jar Jar Dinks) If Jak 4 exist , this song must to apear in the game
first time i played this, i had to have my dad beat exactly 3 sections for me : this fight, Lava Tube, and the robot at the end. this soundtrack is so good though
Like I said heat😁😁😁😁😌😌😌🎵😌🎵😌🎵😌
this is intense
klaww looks so badass
@JAXTERWARS27 it is. they used the same music for the credits
I wish this theme was on the final boss as well!!
same here
epic game, i have 1,2,and 3
well it wasn't that bad because it did introduce something I like and that's trying to hijack planes so you can upgrade yours :P have a nice day further :P
I got 1, 2, 3, X, last frontair but SADLY, not Daxter.... else I think I had them all
this and n.brio's theme
compare these shits
tell me a reason why it wasn't a bad game and that it didn't ruin the story please i mean the cutscenes were dull there was no life in the environments and the graphics were worse than the first jak and daxter. not to say the graphics were bad in the first game but well it was the first game in the series so it won't have as good graphics as the later games
@SuperBrictson Not for me :( I kept missing the rocks
this sounds like the credits song
It is, actually. An extended version was used during the end credits.
so there is no difference between the two? the credits is juss extended?
u should consider getting the collection for ps3
... are you raging for no reason at all? Anyway Last frontieer wasn't that bad... meanwhille I got Daxter on PSVita so I got them all xD
Last Frontier doesn't count and should never be mentioned
last frontier was a ripoff poor graphics, rewend story and wasn't made by Naughty Dog!!!!!!!!
