What goes on in these peoples heads is beyond me.........the hike and camp was superb, your usual high standard videograpghy, excellent...............cheers..Stu👍👌.........just cant get over those slashed tyres though.
Looks a great walk. Can't beat the simplicity of being able to spend the night where you like. I saw pretty much the same wildlife when I was walking about the same time on a circuit north of Hebden Bridge. Keep up the great work!
What a beauty spot up there.. sat on that rock, what a sight. Lots to be seen. Thanks for another good film. Nice kit too, 8 k with tent is amazing! What a bummer at the end though, next time park near a pub. Drunk people don't bother. Cheers and thanks, always look forward to your uploads
I usually park by a pub to go to that area, but coming from this new side saved me about 8 miles! But cost me a lot in cash. It is a very isolated but interesting place. Cheers, Steve.
@@craftywildcamps its a risk we take.. i often don't like the places i have to leave the car. Especially abroad on multiple day trips. But I've been lucky so far.. Don't let it discourage you!
Hi Just watched this and really enjoyed it it’s a great way to put a video together with the different wildlife clips it works so well the weather played ball too it looks a wonderful landscape to out and about in it was great to see the clips of the short eared owl and mountain hare looked as though you had an amazing trip only to be spoiled at the end by some mindless vandalism it’s a shame these types don’t get caught in the act as all they need is a right good kick up the arse lets not let them win and keep getting out to these absolutely stunning locations please keep up these great videos kind regards John
Thanks for watching. I do love it in the peaks, great to get away from it all, only to be brought back down at the end. Like you say you can't let them win. Cheers, Steve.
Great video, Steve. Beautiful job on the editing. Many shots cut a together...a lot of work on your part. Thank You. 👍👏🏾 I'm going to start setting up a trail cam when I leave the car overnight. 🚓🚨
I have thought about a putting a trail cam on the car, but knowing my luck they will pinch that too. I have lost one cam to thieves already, its not a nice experience. Thanks for watching. Steve.
Hi Steve good to see you out camping in the peaks again.grand place is bleaklow,I don't think you were at the actual bleaklow stones though as there's the indistinguishable anvil Stone there & there's plenty flat ground to pitch,if you Google it ull see.if you went up via middle Black Clough I'm thinking you maybe will have been more at near bleaklow stones which is not far north west of actual bleaklow stones. I did a similar one last winter went up near Black Clough, camped at bleaklow stones & came back down via far Black Clough in white out conditions, that was interesting I'll tell ya. Great to see all the wildlife up there & a fantastic job of capturing them as well as you do,would love to see the short eared owl but it has so far eluded me. The car park you used I've used several times & no bother but it has been blocked off now I've noticed just recent so I'm wandering if there's been bother there for some reason, set of idiots slashing tyres on car though, some folk.. Great stuff Steve & tfs..Andy.
Hi Andy. Yes I couldn't work out on the OS map where I was exactly, and my GPS on my phone let me down as did any phone signal (blummin 'Three' network!) Good to be back on the Hills though, it has been some time. Cheers, Steve.
Another cracking video mate, love how you put the names of the wildlife on the screen, great seeing the owl, nice little pitch between the rocks, I'm with you, I like using a bivi bag when I can, you've got some top gear, my sleeping bag is like four times the size of yours haha, you don't expect someone to slash your tyres in a place like that, all the best 👍
lovely relaxed video , some super views... weather was not to bad. spoilt by the tyres been slashed , how sad some people are... be well and thanks for sharing .
Love your videos dude, the first wild camping video i watched was of yours, i still watch it now, and to the little C U Next Tuesday's who vandalised your car, lets hope they never reproduce!
Such a change of scenery from the woodlot! I've been to Buxton, but didn't have the chance to actually get up in the hills of the Peak District. Love seeing them through your lens. As for the tyres, I always fret over leaving my car at trailheads.
Yes, it did make a change be in the hills, it's been a while. We do risk it parking in remote places, fortunetly (or not?) my car is old and not worth pinching? Thanks for watching. Steve.

There are some weird people about. They have had problems with arsonists up there, around the car park was all burnt? What's happening to this world. Cheers, Steve.
Its a bloody shame that you enjoyed the camp session and walked back into devastation with the thought of what type of person has fun wrecking someone's property loved your broadcast and thanks for sharing it and good luck next time 😉👍
I really felt for you at the end there. You had a really nice trip & got some cracking footage (As usual) only to have your outing spoiled by an inexcusable act of mindless vandalism that is becoming more & more common these days. Take care & all the best, Neil.
Cant believe you got your tyres slashed down where you parked. I know the place well. Maybe a local has got pissed off at all the overnight campers leaving thier crap next to the clough. Although it has to be said the local Mountain Rescue team had thier sat nav stolen from thier landrover just up the road from there a few years back. Been out and about myself alot on Bleaklow recently. Maybe I'll bump into you one day. I'll be the sweaty mess with a huge bergan training for the Fan Dance be sure to say hi. Take care dude. Glad to see you making videos again.
I had a good chat with the young gamekeeper who lives close by, he noticed my car first. He has had similar problems too. Not sure who did it and why. I don't think the keepers are too concerned as long as we behave ourselves (No mess or fires). There are some strange people about, maybe the same idiots who set the fires on moorland? Really nice video that. Shame there are scumbags out there who think it’s acceptable to damage property that doesn’t belong to them. Look forward to seeing your next one.
Hi steve Yes I know where you mean now, did that route once but a long time ago and when we were getting back near the car park mid evening we saw a couple of very dodgy looking young lads driving fast into the car park looking round and driving out again. We remember saying we didn't fancy parking there, we were actually parked at Crowden car park at the time. Maybe it's a known trouble spot. Ime just starting to do some wild camping again but ime only considering places that I can park near houses even if it means a longer walk. All the best Rob.

I got an akto May 2018. Used it once in the summer and 3 weeks ago in the rain (got other tents I use too). It leaked around the gutter at the top of the door vent.
