    I've got a '16 Mazda 6 touring (6 speed manual) and am very impressed by its fit, finish, and performance. Mazda is making some really beautiful vehicles that stand out and are well priced.

    • @illstplaya
      @illstplaya 8 років тому +2

      tantivymuckermaffikk Yeah the Mazda 6 looks really good. only downside I've heard about them is the firm ride compared to some competitors. but I guess you have to expect that considering its a more sport oriented sedan.

      Do you ever feel that it lacks power? Also don't you think they should have a 2.5t option

      RAFA RAFA Murano with cvt and can only tow 1500 pounds? No thank you

    • @BCJDM
      @BCJDM 7 років тому +2

      yeah but that doesn't matter much. Most people buying Murano's are not towing trailers. The pathfinder with the same engine and cvt can tow 6000 pounds.

    WOW, this thing is beautiful. If I ever needed an SUV, it would be a hard decision between this and the new XC90 - two amazing choices!

    • @CrazyIvan1337
      @CrazyIvan1337 8 років тому +1

      I love Volvos and Mazdas, and while I think the Volvo is a lot nicer and more upscale, you do seem to get a LOT of bang for your buck with the fully loaded Mazda. And dare I say it, the Mazda feels a bit more simple (in a good way) while being just as stately, despite how FUCKING AWESOME the Volvo's features are. Haha

    • @CrazyIvan1337
      @CrazyIvan1337 8 років тому

      And, while we're on the subject...sure, this fully loaded CX-9 is fairly pricey, but GODDAMN does it look to be worth it. You can buy similar vehicles in the same class or otherwise, and the Mazda is still a nicer car! They sure knocked it out of the park with this new CX-9, it's a very impressive vehicle.

    • @Agent77X
      @Agent77X 8 років тому

      XC90 full loaded of cost to $70K! This CX-9 is only $45K! That a $25K increase. You could buy another car for the difference!

    • @midsummernightsdream7504
      @midsummernightsdream7504 7 років тому +2

      I wouldn't go as far to say "beautiful", but Mazda's definitely stepping up to the plate with luxury-class vehicle alternatives...I'd recommend it to a previous BMW owner!

      Can agree with the exterior, but not with the interior

    • @Undecided_
      @Undecided_ 7 років тому +7

      not really, the dash still looks like hard plastic, red nappa leather with real wood from japan and real aluminum, and it also has accented lighting, The base model q7 is 65k, the signature cx9 is 52k...
      I actually dont understand how anyone would buy an audi

    • @danojb1881
      @danojb1881 7 років тому

      actually the base Q7 with the 2.0T starts at $49k and the 3.0T supercharged V6 (333hp) starts a $55k.

    Usually, I hate big vehicle such as the CX-9 that has a small displacement engine, but for some reason, I like this car. I can tell it's under power but it seems fun to drive. Engine sounds great! I bet the CX-9 would be a fantastic car with a manual transmission, but that's too much to ask.
    Nice review, Kyle.

    Saabkyle04, I know you loved the Volvo XC90 so I'd love your opinion regarding that vs the Mazda. I'm actually cross shopping the two. Although you tested a high end Inscription, I'd be looking at an optioned Momentum around $55K. If it was your money, would you spend the extra $10-$15K for the Volvo over the CX-9 all things considered? Thanks

    I wanted to trade-up from my CX-5 , and looked at one of these in Grand
    Touring trim. No pano roof. No vented seats. No heated rear seats. No
    heated steering wheel. No 360 camera. Cheep plastic covered sun
    visors. Wide center console cuts into legroom. Cargo space much
    smaller than the rest of the class. Apparently I'm not the only one
    with these gripes, because CX-9 sales have been a huge disappointment
    for Mazda. I ended up going with a '17 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0T and
    could not be happier.

    Kyle, you've come a long way professionally from your interview on the Camaro SS back in 2010 with your handheld camera. That said, If I may, I'd like to make some observations that I think may help you currently.
    1. While some people do like numbers, specs, and fact, I think you just offer up too much. Too many details. Rather than read exactly how the turbo is different, put it more in layman's terms that someone that's not into cars will get. How would you describe the dual nature of it to your Grandma?
    2. I really like this SUV, but all the info read off like a list makes it boring. No one wants to buy a boring SUV. Pretend it's your favorite thing in the world and you're trying to convince your buddy to buy one because you'll make a million-dollar commission.
    3. I think your vocal delivery comes off a little too sing-songy; your tone rises and falls unnaturally to the point that it's distracting from your report. A more casual tone would help draw the viewer in IMO.
    Hope that helps. I saw your recently got a Viper too, congrats. What made you pick that over say, a Corvette or a gently-used S65?

    Why there is a 1 second delay in each shifting after you use the manual shifting mode? It doesn't shift right away! Go to 11:12 of the video to see what i m talking about.

      No SUV/CUV in the US comes with a manual.

    Is this built on the ford edge platform ? I can see some Lincoln MKX in the back of it.

      pontiachotshot sad how many people still think this

    • @pontiachotshot
      @pontiachotshot 8 років тому

      Well regardless it seems to be the same size as a edge or MKX.I would never buy a vehicle that size with only a 4 cyl turbo.They are putting a TT v6 in the mkx with 330HP.4 cyl just does not cut it for me.That tiny engine is gonna have a hell of a time.

    if they have kept the same 3.7L v6, it will be much better imo

      Yup or at least as a option motor as it is on the MKX.

      Jonathan A Running a 330km trip and keeping a constant speed at 180km/h and still having 1/4 of fuel to use after arriving destination seems pretty green to me

    • @danesebruno
      @danesebruno 8 років тому

      this is faster, lighter and more fuel efficient than the old V6...

      You need to check your numbers.The 3.7 has way more HP then this 4cyl.

    • @danesebruno
      @danesebruno 8 років тому

      pontiachotshot peak HP is nothing in the real world. Torque curve means much more.
